Rebuke (skate punk) streaming new demo EP – ‘Time Travels’

Swedish skate punks Rebuke are offering up their latest release for free/name your price. Listen to and/or download their demo EP, Time Travels, below.

The band recorded the demo for their European tour over this summer. Rebuke’s most recent full-length LP is 2010’s Wouldworks, which you can also download for free/name your price on their Bandcamp page.



Disconnect Disconnect Records stream new compilation “Fast Around The World”

Fans of skate-punk, melodic hardcore or just punk rock bands whose guitarist thinks they’re at an Iron Maiden audition could do a lot worse this week than having a browse over to Disconnect Disconnect Records website and checking out the labels latest offerings on the compilation “Fast Around The World”. Featuring the likes of Rebuke, Thousand Oaks and The Decline this compilation is an absolute must for fans of fast. It can be enjoyed it it’s entirety below but independents like Disconnect Disconnect could sure use the cash to keep bringing you such treats so get over there and buy it already.



Free Skate Punk Comp: “Apologies Not Accepted” (Rebuke, Break Anchor, etc)

Brazilian webzine We Live in Hell have released another killer compilation album titled “Apologies Not Accepted” and it features a grip of great international melodic and skate punk acts.

All in all there are 30 bands from 14 countries and its a fantastic way to make at least a few great new band discoveries.  Give it a listen below and if you dig it you can download it on bandamp for free.



NOFX tribute album to be released next month

A Tribute to NOFX announced on its Facebook page that a tribute album will be released on December 14th on Bandcamp. The tribute album will include 40 bands paying tribute to the iconic California punk band, such as Rebuke, 69 Enfermos and Hoist the Colors, and all money is directly donated to the “Tony Sly Music Foundation for Kids” using the “Name Your Price” feature.

Speaking of NOFX, they began demoing new material earlier this week for what appears to be their first studio album since 2012’s Self-Entitled.



Rebuke and Money Left To Burn release their split album

Swedish skate punk act Rebuke and the the like-minded German band Money Left To Burn have released their split comprised of 10 tracks.  The album was officially released today via Disconnect Disconnect Records.  Give it a listen below!

Rebuke last released their Camino Del Rey EP in 2012, while Money Left To Burn last released Sucker in 2011.



Rebuke announce split with Money Left To Burn

Swedish skate punk act Rebuke have announced that they will be releasing a split with the like-minded German band Money Left To Burn.  The split will be released on June 1st via Disconnect Disconnect Records.  You can see the artwork above and can check out the track list below.

Rebuke begin recording new album

Swedish skate punk act Rebuke posted a video on their Facebook page of the band recording new material for their next album. The band writes:

“Recording sessions have begun! Five new songs will soon be rubbing your tummies.”

The song will appear on “Sweden The Deal”, a compilation album featuring 2 unreleased songs from 7 different Swedish punk bands including Rebuke, Lapdog, Trevolt, From The Tracks, Same Old Story and Broken Aris.  It will be put out on December 1oth via Lockjaw Records, Less Talk More Records along with a few other labels.

Make-That-A-Take Records to release “SWEDEN THE DEAL” (a compilation of unreleased songs from Swedish bands)

Scotland-based punk ‘collective’ Make-That-A-Take Records has just announced that they will be partnering with a number of European record labels to release “SWEDEN THE DEAL.”

As the label describes it, the compilation will feature, “unreleased skate/punk/rock bangers from a selection of Sweden’s finest.”

You can listen to a little sampler of tracks from the upcoming compilation and view the track list here. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.

The comp will be officially released on December 10th and will feature material from Kept, Trevolt, Rebuke, From The Tracks, Lapdog, Same Old Story, Broken Aris. Many labels are collaborating for this compilation including Lockjaw, Riot Ska, and TNS, just to name a few.

Less Talk More Records, along with a few other labels will be co-releasing a compilation album titled “Sweden The Deal” on December 1oth.  The album will feature 2 unreleased tracks from 7 different Swedish punk bands including Rebuke, Lapdog, Trevolt, From The Tracks, Same Old Story and Broken Aris.

Physical copies will be available but it will also be distributed digitally via bandcamp.



Music Video: Rebuke – “Without A Shred Of Dignity”

Swedish skate punk band Rebuke have released a music video for their song “Without A Shred Of Dignity.”  It features live footage from their recent EU tour and you can check it out right here.

The band’s last release was an EP titled “Artie Kaye” put out in April through Disconnect Disconnect Records.

Swedish skate punk band Rebuke have announced that they will release a new 7-inch single called “Artie Kaye” on April 1st through Disconnect Disconnect Records.  The single will include four brand new songs and be limited to 200 copies.
