New Song: “Get Mutual” by Stand Out Riot off upcoming album “The Gentleman Bandits”

If you have yet to hear of Stand Out Riot, after reading this post I’m confident you will have become a fan. The UK ska/punk septet hails from Manchester, England, where there is already a long history of a thriving music scene. The band features a horn section along with a violin, giving them quite a unique and powerful sound.

Stand Out Riot is getting set to release their second studio album, The Gentleman Bandits, on TNS Records, and have uploaded the debut track, Get Mutual, to stream on their MySpace page. Fans of ska/punk and bands like The King Blues, Sonic Boom Six, or other Manchester punk acts will feel right at home with Stand Out Riot. The band’s own record label described them as, “Gogol Bordello having a rather steamy relationship with Streetlight Manifesto.” Check out Get Mutual right here.

The Gentleman Bandits has an official release date of April 4 in the UK, however I have also seen details on a March 12 release date in the states.

Stand Out Riot’s last album Canival Militia was released in 2009.
