Comeback Kid announce West Coast tour with The Greenery, No Bragging Rights

Canadian hardcore punk veterans Comeback Kid have announced a handful of West Coast US tour dates that’ll keep them busy for the middle of March. The jaunt kicks off March 10th in Tempe, Arizona, and wraps up in Oakland on March 15th. Joining Comeback Kid on the road will be the likes of The Greenery and No Bragging Rights, the latter of whom seem to thankfully be okay after a recent serious tour van accident. As you should know by now, Comeback Kid’s “Die Knowing” came out last March via Victory Records.

California melodic hardcore act No Bragging Rights have been involved in a serious accident in their van while they were driving on snowy roads from Washington back to home base in California.

On the incident, the band released the brief tweet:

California melodic hardcore group No Bragging Rights have just announced the release of an upcoming album, The Concrete Flower, on September 23rd via Pure Noise Entertainment.

On the pending release, vocalist Mike Perez commented:

“The Concrete Flower” is us at our best. We found our identity in “Cycles”, which made it fun to tastefully experiment and push that sound even further.  I take a lot of pride in the lyrics I wrote and the subject matter is something we feel very strongly about. We’re really happy to be sharing these songs and their messages.

No Bragging Rights and Rotting Out robbed in Oakland

No Bragging Rights and Rotting Out were unfortunately robbed last night in Oakland, CA at the Today’s Mixtape Festival. According to a post on NBR’s Facebook page, the only things stolen were personal items – both bands are still in possession of their vans, trailers, and gear.

No Bragging Rights released their latest album “Cycles” in 2012 through Good Fight Music. Rotting Out re-released their sophomore album “The Wrong Way” in December 2013 via Pure Noise Entertainment. A follow-up is currently in the works.



No Bragging Rights rejoin Pure Noise Records roster, to begin recording new album in April

Riverside melodic hardcore act No Bragging Rights have officially rejoined the Pure Noise Records roster, announcing plans to begin recording a follow-up to 2012’s “Cycles” next month. Here’s what vocalist Mike Perez had to say about re-signing with the label:

“It’s crazy to think we were Jake’s first release with Pure Noise. It was literally just us and Jake. Watching Jake build the label to what it is today is something we all have had a pleasure watching. We are very excited and very proud to be coming back home to the Pure Noise family.”

Riverside melodic hardcore group No Bragging Rights have announced European and US tour dates for the upcoming months. Check out the full list of dates and locations below.

The band will be promoting the vinyl version of their album “Cycles” which was released in October of 2013 through Pure Noise Records. The album was originally released in October of 2012 through Good Fight Music/eOne on exclusively CD and digital formats.



Pure Noise Records to release No Bragging Rights’ “Cycles” on vinyl

It has just been announced that Riverside, CA progressive/hardcore act No Bragging Rights will be releasing “Cycles” on vinyl through Pure Noise Records.

The album was originally released last October through Good Fight Music/eOne on exclusively CD and digital formats. This will be the first time “Cycles” will be released on vinyl.

Pure Noise will be putting the album out this time (with new artwork <<—-), with a release date of October 22nd, just over one year from its original release.
