Texas in July announces dates for farewell tour

They’re from Pennsylvania, they’re called Texas In July, and they’re heading to Europe for the first part of their farewell tour.  The hardcore/metal band will call it quits this year, so check out their European tour dates below.  The band already has some U.S. tour dates scheduled with Gideon, but they will add some final dates as well.  We’ll keep you posted on those as they are released.

Gideon announce US tour with Texas in July

Alabama based hardcore act Gideon has just announced a headlining tour throughout the United States with support from Pennsylvania metalcore band Texas In July, Kublai Khan, and Silent Planet. You can check out the dates and locations for the tour on the flyer above.

Gideon’s most recent release was Calloused, launched on October 14. Texas in July’s latest album, Bloodwork, was released last September via Equal Vision Records.



Texas In July cancels UK tour citing health reasons

Bad news for Texas In July fans in the UK. Seems the Pennsylvania metalcore band have had to cancel their upcoming tour, citing health reasons in the TIJ camp. Here’s the official statement as it appeared on their Facebook page:

Unfortunately we are not going to be able to attend the upcoming Betraying The Martyrs Headliner due to health issues in the TIJ camp. It’s in our best interest to be local during this time so that Adam can be near his doctors that have been working with him since the inception of his complications. Our apologies are sent to all of our European fans, we will see you soon enough.

Pennsylvania metalcore act Texas In July has just premiered a song with new vocalist JT Cavey. The band is preparing to release a new album later this year on Equal Vision Records, and this seems to be the first work to surface from the upcoming album.

The Vans Warped Tour has announced that Ice Nine Kills, Mixtapes, No Bragging Rights, Texas In July, Super Water Sympathy, The Indecent, Lost In Atlantis, City Shakeup and Gabe Kubanda will be joining the 2013 tour.

The tour runs from June 15th through August 4th and show details and ticket info can be found on the Warped tour dates page.
