Square Songs Release Songs For Free Download

Massachusetts group, Square Songs (members of: Late Night Wars , Powerwolves, and The End All Marathon) have posted a couple songs off their upcoming release entitled “Blaq and Ghould”.

They have made the songs available for free download for a limited time and you can snag them on the band’s Bandcamp page.

The band is relatively new and their latest release “1859 Reasons Why” was put out September 2011. You can check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Bandcamp.

You can stream a brand new song from Massachusetts hardcore punk act Powerwolves right here.  It’s called “The Chaos You’ve Made” and it appears on the band’s new full-length, “You Won’t Find Peace,” out this week on Panic Records.

Powerwolves sign to Panic Records

Massachusetts hardcore punk act Powerwolves have signed with Panic Records.

The band will release their full-length label debut  “You Won’t Find Peace” on August 9th. You can stream the title track on the label’s Facebook page.

Free Music Download: Massachusetts Is A Coffin compilation

In what could be go down as one of the best compilations of the year, Where It Ends Zine have released a 37 song release which covers a vast majority of the current Massachusetts hardcore scene. It is available as a free download or full stream from a Bandcamp page.

It features such bands as The Carrier,  Powerwolves,  and Death Before Dishonor amongst many others. You can download it here.

New Music: Powerwolves and Ten Thirty Nine split released digitally

Massachusetts based bands Powerwolves and Ten Thirty Nine have just released their split record digitally while they prepare to press it on vinyl. It features a new song by each band, a cover song, and a bastardized cover song where they cover each other. I always thought this was a great concept. Powerwolves announce split with Ten Thirty Nine

Two of the newest bands to come from the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts, Powerwolves and Ten Thirty Nine are combining forces for a split 7 inch to be released later this year. It will feature each band doing an original song, a cover, and then covering one of each others songs. I always loved the “bastardized” concept so I’d expect big things from this collaboration. It’s yet to announced who will be releasing it but it’s in the process of being recorded now.

Powerwolves have recently put their demo up for free download here and you can also check out their Myspace page to see what they’re all about.

Ten Thirty Nine have just released their newest EP on Sex Robot Records that features such guest appearances as Ben from Such Gold, Joe from Transit, Kevin from Late Nite Wars and Dave from Powerwolves. You can check out some of their songs on their Myspace Page.
