UK Subs have announced a PledgeMusic campaign for two upcoming 7″s. The two double A-side 7″s, “Predator” and “The Beast”, are to be released on blue and red vinyl respectively. You can buy tickets to a 40th anniversary/release party show while you’re at it too.

The UK Subs have announced a rarities compilation album. The album, which will be titled Friends and Relations, will be out on May 11, 2016 through Cleopatra Records, and feature rare songs by the band as well as tracks by side projects like Target Generation (founded by Subs guitarist Nicky Garratt and bassist Alvin Gibbs), and Urban Dogs (a collaboration project between Subs front-man Charlie Harper and The Damned’s Captain Sensible, and The Vibrators’ Knox).
UK Subs released their latest album, Ziezo, in April 2016. It is their 26th official album, and marks the band’s completion of releasing an album with a title beginning with each letter of the English alphabet.

The Undercover Festival, which takes place in Surrey, England, over 3 days in September, has just finalized their list of headliners for the 2015 shows. This year, you can catch Anti-Nowhere League, UK Subs, The Damned, and Penetration as headliners, plus a slew of other punk, ska, dub, and reggae bands.

It’s a slow news day so here’s something to keep you entertained and culturally enlightened. It’s the UK Subs “Punk Can Take It” documentary filmed in 1979, which features live footage of the seminal punk band and is structured like a parody of WWII era British documentaries.

Last week old school punk rockers UK Subs released their 24th(!) studio album. In keeping with their alphabetical sequencing of album names, this one was titled “XXIV” and it contains 14 tracks plus 12 bonus acoustic tracks on the expanded edition.

It’s a holiday here in the good ‘ole US of A so that means its a bit slow on the news front. Doesn’t mean we’re taking the day off from keeping you guys entertained though. Nope. We’ve scoured the net and dug up this here DVD called “Burning Britain: The History of Punk 1980-1984”. It’s a collection of UK punk music from 1980 to 1984, featuring a mix of promo videos and, in many cases, extremely rare live material from the bands The Exploited, GBH, The Destructors, Peter And The Test Tube Babies and many more.
Long-running punk band U.K. Subs will be hitting the road with metal legends Motorhead this fall. The group announced several U.K. dates for November 2011. You can see them here. More dates may be announced later.
The band recently released their their new album Work in Progress on Captain Oi, which is a follow-up to 2002′s Universal.
