Outbreak come out of hibernation, announce fall shows

Maine hardcore band Outbreak have recently emerged from hibernation, if only to announce a few shows for later this year. It appears the band have a few gigs lined up in their home state (sorry non-Downeasters), including one night supporting Sick Of It All. Click here for all the details.

Outbreak’s last album was their 2009 eponymous album, released on Think Fast! Records.

Video: Outbreak post tour video from Sick Of It All gigs

Outbreak, everybody’s favorite Vacationland-based hardcore act, finally got around to posting the obligatory video footage compilation from their recent run with hardcore legends (and Think Fast! label mates) Sick Of It All.

The tour ran through most of the month of January and into February, as evidenced by some pretty interesting footage of Outbreak’s van defroster mishaps. Also included is terrible facial hair, terribler dancing, even terribler laughing, crowd surfing on a mattress, and a kick ass Celtic’s jersey.

You can view the whole thing here.

DS Exclusive: Tom Rheault (No Trigger) gives DS a quick run down about the bands absence, the new record and the future

No Trigger disappeared for while but they’re back in business, baby!  The band released “Canyoneer” back in 2006, toured their asses off for a few years then everything went quiet in the camp. After the unintended break the band released the EP, “Be Honest” in 2010 and a full length is expected for release in 2011. Get stoked on it!

The band will be stepping out this week to lose their Australian tour virginity.  Vocalist, Tom Rheault took a few minutes to tell us at Dying Scene why they were away for so long, what their return means for affiliated side projects, signing to No Sleep Records and the No Trigger / A Wilhelm Scream connection. You can read the full interview here.

If, like me, you are lucky enough to be in an Australian capital city over the next week, check the dates, get your ass a ticket and get to their show!

Bitter End is also supporting on all dates (don’t sleep on them or A&O, both great bands!) and The Suicide Machines will jump on the bill for the 1/15 date. Get all the details here.

Video: Outbreak – behind the scenes recording music video for “Human Target”

Outbreak is currently working on a music video for their song Human Target off their self-titled album released last November on Think Fast! Records.  You can check out a behind the scenes video from the filming of it right here.

Says the band:

Sorry this is taking forever to complete and please don’t let the delay trick you into thinking we’re producing a billion dollar video with me jumping off a ship and swimming with Dolphins i.e. Guns N Roses “Estranged” (although that would be pretty awesome)…the truth is, we’ve all been busy, so things are taking longer than we anticipated.

Tour Video: Outbreak on the road

outbreak-outbreakThe guys from Outbreak have just posted a video of their latest tour. The band has been out promoting their most recent self-titled album which was released last month on Think Fast! The video begins with the band from The Fest 8 earlier this fall in Florida and follows them as they trek through the east coast; and of course the best part of tour videos – the live show footage.
