Cry Havoc! (Hardcore Punk) release new album, “No Good Deed Left Unpunished”

Connecticut’s own hardcore punk icons, Cry Havoc! have just released their new album, No Good Deed Left Unpunished on Die Hipster! Records. This is the band’s first release on the mostly garage-punk label, and picks up where their last album, And Let Slip The Dogs Of War left off when it was released in 2014.

Vicious Mistress Records releases Punk in the Streets Volume 3

Connecticut’s Vicious Mistress Records has released their third volume of the street punk compilation Punk in the Streets, and you can check it out below.

The comp features 17 tracks of oi!, street punk, and hardcore from bands including Damn BroadsViolent Affair, and a brand new song called “Listening Post” from Connecticut’s own Cry Havoc (CT).

Cry Havoc! reveal cover art and tracklist for new album “And Let Slip the Dogs of War”

Connecticut hardcore act Cry Havoc! have revealed some more details surrounding their new album And Let Slip the Dogs of War.  Shawn Refuse, a Brooklyn-based artist also known as the frontman of Done With You, created the artwork (seen above) and supplied vocals on “More Discharge, Less Rise Against.”  You’ll also hear Ben Social of Sadplant kick in some vocals on “Fuck You!  Just Die.”

Although the band does not have a firm release date yet for the album, they are hoping to put it out early this August.  The album was funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign in which the band raised almost double their goal.
