Skumdum (punk) announce new album – “Traveller Anthems”

Swedish punks Skumdum have a new album coming out next month.

The band announced on their Facebook page that Traveller Anthems will be released December 11th via Bells On Records.

The album will feature 13 songs from the band’s singles put out over this past year. Check out some of the songs on the band’s Facebook page.

Skumdum’s last new album was 2005’s Skum Of The Land.

Polish music blog Melodic Punk Style has just released a second free compilation. The comp, titled Sound of Us. Volume II, includes 27 tracks by 27 different bands. Among the bands included on this volume are Skumdum, Local Resident Failure, G.A.S. Drummers, Twelve2Go, and DyingScene Records‘ very own Chimp Change! Of course, there are still 22 other bands also represented in this collection.

Long-running Swedish melodic punk rock outfit Skumdum have released the a couple new singles today. Entitled “Controlled” and “Goodbye,” these mark the third in a series of ten two-track singles that they’ll release in 2013 in honor of their 20th anniversary. Stream them both right here.

The first single, “Ten Thousand People” was released in January, while “Never Ending War” was released last month.

Sweden’s melodic punk rock outfit Skumdum are streaming both songs from their new single “Ten Thousand People.”  In addition to the title track you can also hear a new tune called “Demons From The Past” right here.

Sweden’s melodic punk rock outfit Skumdum has released the cover art for their upcoming release, “Ten Thousand People.”

Skumdum (Swedish Punk Act) recording new album

Swedish melodic/skate punk act, Skumdum, is currently recording a new album according to updates on the band’s facebook page.

We’re gonna record bass + guitars on the 6th – 7th of april. It’s starting to look like we’re actually gonna finish the new album before the end of the world ;-)

I’m not 100% sure but I think the band’s last full-length was 2005’s “Skum Of The Land“.
