Brakrock Ecofest (Belgium) announces first bands (The Bennies, The Dopamines, Pears)

We see this more and more these days: festivals announcing their line-up very early. The Belgian festival Brakrock Ecofest is certainly no exception. They announced their first three bands for their 2019 edition: The Bennies, The Dopamines and Pears. The latter played the festival in 2017. Brakrock Ecofest will take place on August 2-3 in Duffel, Belgium.

Belgium is no strange place for punk rock festivals, with Groezrock as the most well known example. Brakrock Ecofest is a festival with a lot of growth the last few years. The line up has always been stellar and eco-friendly peeps will love the fact that the festival takes the environment very seriously: this is probably the only festival in the world where you will not see trash on the ground.

Manchester Punk Festival 2018 announce more bands

Manchester Punk Festival have announce the second set of bands that will be playing next year. New additions include Culture Shock, Random Hand and Beat The Light. They will be joining other great bands such as PropagandhiWonk UnitThe Bennies, Pizza Tramp, In Evil Hour and many many more.

Manchester Punk Festival announce lineup for 2018

Manchester Punk Festival has just announced the first slew of bands slotted to play their 2018 dates on April 19th through the 21st.

So far we have:

Propagandhi, Wonk Unit, The Bennies, Svetlanas, Antillectual, Mobina Galore, Uniforms, Christmas, Spoilers, The Minor Discomfort Band, Pizzatramp, Nervus, Forever Unclean, Fresh, Natterers, Rotten Foxes, All Aboard, Darko, Egos At The Door, Drones, Regret, Wolfbeast Destroyer, Captain Hotknives, Shankland, The Lab Rats, Foxes Faux, Incisions, Aerial Salad and Throwing Stuff.

Music Video: The Bennies “Corruption”

Australian ska-punk band The Bennies recently premiered a brand new music video for their latest single, “Corruption.” The politically charged, Black Sabbath-inspired clip features a cameo cast for the stars, including appearances from members of The Smith Street Band, Area 7, Frenzal Rhomb, and more. Fireball whisky announce Less Than Jake for new “Fueling the Fire” UK tour

The Whisky company Fireball have announced Less Than Jake, The Skints and Mariachi El Bronx for their first “Fueling the Fire” tour taking place in the UK this Autumn. Along with this already tantalising lineup, Australian reggae/metal mashup pioneers The Bennies and Japanese ska-punks KEMURI will join the party at selected dates.  Tickets go on sale on Friday 13th May and priced at an incredibly low £10 fans of ska-punk would be mad to miss this one. The Bennies stream new album, “Wisdom Machine”

Australian ska-punk band  The Bennies are offering a full stream of their new album, Wisdom Machine, and you can check it out here.  You can also grab a copy of your own from the Paper + Plastick Records website here.

Wisdom Machine was released earlier this week.  It is The Bennies’ first release since 2013’s Rainbows in Space.  The Bennies will also be touring the U.K. over the next month, and you can find all the dates in the poster below.

Groezrock adds The Falcon, Much The Same & more to 2016 lineup

Long-running Belgian punk festival Groezrock has added 18 more bands to its 2016 lineup. Among those included in the announcement are The Falcon, Much The Same, The Bennies, Teen Agers, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and many more.

The full list of bands added in this latest announcement can be seen below.

Tickets for the year’s installment of Groezrock, which takes place on the 29th and 30th of April in Meerhout, Belgium, are available here. Previously announced bands playing the festival include RancidDillinger FourSum 41Dag Nasty, and Me First And The Gimme Gimmes.

Aussie ska-punk band  The Bennies have announced a bunch of European tour dates that’ll keep them pretty busy from the middle of April through the middle of May. Check out the full rundown below.

The Bennies will be touring in support of their latest album, Wisdom Machine: A Journey Into The Mind Of…The Bennies, which is set to be released on March 25th via Paper + Plastick Records.

Aussie ska-punk band  The Bennies has announced that their latest album, Wisdom Machine: A Journey Into The Mind Of…The Bennies, will be released in North America and the U.K. by perennial punk label Paper + Plastick Records.  You can preview the track listing below.

Paper + Plastick will also be a co-sponsor of The Bennies’ tour of the U.K., which kicks off in May.  You’ll also find the poster for that below.

The Bennies (Australian ska-punk) announce new album, “Wisdom Machine”

Everyone’s favorite Melbourne, Australia-based ska-punk four-piece The Bennies have announced plans for a brand-new full length. It’s called “Wisdom Machine: A Journey Into The Mind Of…The Bennies,” and it features guest appearances from the likes of Jay Whalley (Frenzal Rhomb) and Ezra Kire (Morning Glory, ex-Leftover Crack).

To mark the release of “Wisdom Machine,” the band will embark on a two-week tour of their home country alongside the one and only Off With Their Heads. Check out tour dates below, and stay tuned for release/pre-order info in the coming weeks.

Welp, I just found my new favorite track of the week. Melbourne’s, ska-punk outfit The Bennies have just released a new single entitled “Party Machine” through Poison City Records and you can stream it in all its keyboard infused glory below.

The Bennies last released Rainbows in Space in November, 2013 via Poison City.
