Nerf Herder returns to Chicago to play inaugural “Merry Punking Christmas”

Punk vets Nerf Herder will return to Chicago for the first time in seventeen long years to play the inaugural “Merry Punking Christmas” at Reggies. Joining Nerf Herder for this, the most joyous of occasions will be: The Copyrights, Dan Vapid & The Cheats, and Capgun Heroes. The show will go down December 7th as mentioned above at the world-famous Reggies.

Pop-punk icon Dan Vapid has announced he will be releasing a children’s album. All Wound Up, which releases on September 9th through Asian Man Records features 11 songs with titles like “Red Fire Engine,” “I Wanna Play in the Dirt ,” and “Green Means Go.”

Textbook to release new record through Dan Vapid’s Torture Chamber Records

Chicago’s Textbook (ex-Not Rebecca) have announced plans to release a new record titled All Messed Up on October 28th through Dan Vapid’s Torture Chamber Records.

We’ll week you posted as more details on the album, which was produced by Matt Allison (Lawrence Arms, Menzingers, Masked Intruder), come to light.

Chicago pop-punks Dan Vapid and The Cheats will be heading out on a European tour early next month! Details on when and where they’ll be playing can be found below.

The band’s new album “Two,” which served as a follow-up to their 2012 self-titled record, was released last year through Torture Chamber Records.
