Music Video: We Are The Ocean – “Good For You”

British rock act We Are the Ocean has just released a music video for their song “Good For You”.

The track appears on the band’s latest album, “Ark”, which was released back in May through Hassle Records.

Have a look at the music video below.

Here’s what frontman Liam Cromby had to say about the video,

The video starts at the end of the story line, a bank heist has gone down with some hiccups on the way (like finding an angry girl in the boot of the car) but at the end, everything is sweet, cause the money’s in the bag…we spent the day working on the choreography and when the lighting was right we had 2 hours to get the final shot, it was pretty manic. I like that the video has Tarantino stylings with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s vision.

We Are The Ocean detail new album “Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow”, premiere music video for new song

British rock-punk act We Are The Ocean will be releasing their 3rd album, “Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow,” on September 18th via  Side One Dummy Records.

Looks like the band will be taking a slightly different direction with the new release.  Here’s a quote from the press release:

“What’s most impressive about the ten tracks that comprise ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow,’ is that they constitute an entirely new beginning for the Essex four-piece, while both paying lip-service to their roots and signaling a bright new future. This is the sound of a young band taking some gigantic risks, and hearing them pay off.”

The band parted ways with their former singer, Dan Brown, in June. Having recorded the majority of the record with producer Peter Miles (The King Blues, Dry The River, Canterbury), the remaining members of the band felt something was wrong, and decided to move forward as a quartet

The band’s video their first U.S. single, “The Road,” can be seen here.
