The Hunters (hardcore) announce final album and stream two new songs

Bust out the good maple syrup, Quebec hardcore act The Hunters have announced that their upcoming album entitled “Black Eyes” will be their last. The four song EP will be the fourth release from the band, and will be released on cassette store day (October 14th).

The Hunters will release “Art Electic” on Black Numbers label

Quebec City punk rockers The Hunters have announced that they will release their new album on the punk label Black Numbers.  The album, which will be titled Art Electic, was recorded with Matt Allison, who has produced for Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms, and The Menzingers.  You can expect to get your hands on it sometime in May.

The Hunters most recently released Promises in 2012 to critical acclaim.



Pouzza Fest announces “Mini Pouzza” in Toronto (Miracles, Adelleda, Cactus Vella & more)

You Canadian punks are getting lucky this year! The organizers of Pouzza Fest have just announced they will be putting on a “Mini Pouzza” in Toronto on April 25th, in addition to the main festival taking place on 16th, 17th, and 18th of May in Montreal, Quebec.

The show will feature smaller smaller acts than the main festival, including Miracles (ft. ex-Sainte Catherines frontman Hugo Mudie), Adelleda, The Hunters, Cactus Vella, and many others. More details can be found over here.
