Iron Chic and Toys That Kill release two singles from split EP

Iron Chic of Long Island has teamed up with Toys That Kill of San Pedro to release a split EP via Recess Records.

The last release from Toys That Kill was their 2016 music video for “Four String”, from their 2016 album “Sentimental Ward” via Recess Records. Iron Chic’s most recent release was their 2017 LP “You Can’t Stay Here”, released via SideOneDummyRecords.



Iron Chic announce new split with Toys That Kill

Long Island punk band Iron Chic announced on their Facebook page that they will be releasing a new split with San Pedro’s Toys That Kill. The split LP will be coming out sometime this year and will be a joint release between Dead Broke Rekerds and Recess Records. It will include 4 previously unreleased Iron Chic tracks.

Iron Chic’s most recent release was the 2017 album You Can’t Stay Here.



Toys That Kill release video for “Four String”

San Pedro punks Toys That Kill have released a video for their song “Four String,” and you can check it out below.  The song appears on the band’s latest release, Sentimental Ward, which came out on July 1st through front-man Todd C.’s label Recess Records.

Toys That Kill released their last album, Fambly 42, in May 2012, also through Recess.

San Pedro’s Toys That Kill have released a music video for “S.D.R.T.T.Go!,” which is taken from their latest album Sentimental Ward. You can check it out below.

Sentimental Ward came out on July 1st through Recess Records.



Schedule released for San Diego’s Awesome Fest X

Awesome Fest has released it’s full three-day schedule.

Between September 2nd and 4th, nearly 70 bands bands will take over San Diego for the 10th annual Awesome Fest. Musical acts include The Arrivals, Red City Radio, Toys That Kill, Toy Guitar, and Bad Cop/Bad Cop.

San Pedro punk act Toys That Kill have revealed some details surrounding their upcoming album. Titled Sentimental Ward, the album will be released on July 1, 2016 through front-man Todd C.’s label Recess Records, and will feature sixteen tracks. Toys That Kill, Dr. Frank, Tilwheel & more to play Awesome Fest 9

The first round of bands playing Awesome Fest 9 has been announced! The lineup for the 3-day festival which is set to take place September 4th-6th in San Diego, CA, includes Toys That Kill, Mr. T Experience frontman Dr. Frank (backed by Turkish Techno), Tiltwheel, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Rational Anthem, and many others.

The Fest 14 announces more bands (Toys That Kill, Nothington, The Moms)

The FEST 14 has announced a few more additions to this year’s lineup. New bands include Toys That Kill, Nothington, Underground Railroad to Candyland, The Moms, Benny The Jet Rodriguez, Sand Fleas and Weston. Previously announced acts include PUP. PEARS, Bigwig, Lagwagon and more.

Fest 14 is set for October 30th through November 1st in Gainesville, Florida, with the Big Pre-Fest in Little Ybor 3 party on October 28th and 29th in Tampa, Florida’s Ybor City neighborhood. Tickets, hotels, etc. are all set to go on sale June 1st. You can find all the info. on that here.



Dillinger Four’s D4th of July line-up announced (Against Me!, Toys That Kill and more)

Dillinger Four have announced the lineup for their “D4th of July” bash at the Triple Rock in Minneapolis, MN. The event will cover four days from July 4-7 with a lineup including D4 playing along with Against Me!, Toys That Kill, Scared Of Chaka, Off With Their Heads, Tim Barry, Pink Mink, Nato Coles and the Blue Diamond Band as well as other “surprise special guests.”

The Underground Railroad to Candyland announces new album and tour with Toys That Kill

San Pedro’s The Underground Railroad to Candyland, one of Todd Congelliere’s “newest” (relatively speaking) projects, have announced that they will be releasing a new album titled The People Are Home. The band has released a stream of the album’s first single, “Th Ppl r Hm,” and will be heading out on tour alongside Congelliere’s other band, Toys That Kill, this summer. You can find the tour dates and locations, and a stream of the song below.

The Underground Railroad to Candyland will release The People Are Home on May 26, 2015 through Recess Records.

Dirt Cult Records stream Todd Congelliere cover compilation
