Alexisonfire teasing big announcement, possibly a reunion

It’s been nearly four years since Alexisonfire decided to call it a day, but it seems 2015 just might be the year they get back in the saddle. The band posted the cryptic image seen above on their Instagram page earlier today. The picture which features their logo and the date 03/09/2015 was captioned #AOF2015, and it has since popped up on the band’s Facebook page, as well as the page for guitarist Dallas Green’s project City and Colour.

Obviously, this has sent the band’s fans into a frenzy of wild speculation, with most assuming it means the band will either be reuniting, or releasing a new record. But nothing is confirmed, so we’ll just have to wait ’til the AOF guys make whatever announcement they’re gonna make on March 9th.
