New post-hardcore act Sianvar – comprised of members of Dance Gavin Dance, A Lot Like Birds, Hail the Sun, and Stolas – will be releasing their debut EP on January 5th through Blue Swan Records. You can stream the EP in its entirety right here.

Sacramento post-hardcore group, A Lot Like Birds, announced today that they will be releasing a new album.

The album will be called No Place, and is scheduled to be out October 29th and will be their first with Equal Vision Records.

In addition to the album, the group have also announced a co-headlining tour with Lions Lions.

Live Video: A Lot Like Birds (post-hardcore) perform “Think Dirty Out Loud”

Sacramento’s A Lot Like Birds have released a live video of “Think Dirty Out Loud.”  The song was released on their  2011 album “Conversation Piece,” on Doghouse Records.  Since that release, the band has signed with Equal Vision Records and is working on a new album to be released in 2013.

A Lot Like Birds sign with Equal Vision Records

Sacramento, CA post-hardcore group A Lot Like Birds have signed with Equal Vision Records.  The band plans to begin writing and entering the studio in early 2013 for their Equal Vision debut and will tour for the remainder of 2012.  Fall tour dates will be announced shortly, so be on the lookout for those.
