Symbol Six to release split with Rikk Agnew

L.A. hardcore band Symbol Six has announced that their split with Rikk Agnew (of Christian Death) will be released on June 9th via Jailhouse Records.

The split, called Split and Stitched, will feature some brand-new tracks from Symbol Six, as well as covers of punk classics, handpicked by Rikk.  The limited run of 500 copies can be picked up in person at their release party on June 6th at the Doll Hut in L.A.

The split currently has no solid release date but pre-orders (ltd. 100 hand-numbered copies on white wax) will be made available on January 20th via Jailhouse Records. The spring release of Symbol Six’s upcoming album “Dirtyland” will also be handled by Jailhouse.

The immortal Dr. Strange Records has announced plans for a vinyl re-release of early material from old school LA hardcore band Symbol Six. The limited-edition release will feature all of Symbol Six’s material from the Posh Boy Records days (1980-1982), plus a few bonus goodies. Click here to check it out.
