MügRiver JumpersSpineless Yes Men, and WACO have been announced as additions to London’s Might As Well Fest.

These bands will be joining previously announced groups: Astpai, Break-Ups, Going Away PartyHarkerHogwash, and Six Time Champion. The festival is taking place on September 12th at The Macbeth in London and tickets are available here.

Mug (skate-punk) stream new song “Rad Bandanas” off upcoming album “Growler”

British melodic skate punk act Müg are streaming a new song called “Rad Bandanas” and you can check it out below.

The song will appear on the band’s upcoming album Growler slated for release on June 19th and which serves as a follow-up to the three-song EP “World of Weirdos” they released a year ago.

Müg to release new album next month

British melodic skate punk act Müg have announced that they will release their new album Growler on June 19th. About the record, they write:

“Ladies and Gentlemen! Our new record is coming out in exactly 1 month. We have put together this little package for you. CD, Shirt and ‘MUG’ mug!. Pre-order a pack today! The Mugs and shirts won’t be on sale anywhere else and the mugs and shirts are limited to 25 only. This release is our 5th release and is our second on our awesome record label: 13 Stitches – DIY Punk Rock. We really can’t wait for you all to hear these songs! We will put up a track in the next few days.”

Growler will serve as the follow-up to Müg’s three-song EP World of Weirdos, which was released a year ago.

Mug posts cover of Chixdiggit’s “Chupacabra”

British melodic skate punk act Müg have just posted a cover of Chixdiggit’s “Chupacabra.” The band posted the cover along with a message on Facebook discussing how the cover was originally intended for the Fat Wreck documentary:

Did you guys know we did a CHIXDIGGIT! cover for the fat wreck documentary comp a while back? We didn’t get on it as the original song wasn’t done on Fat Wreck Chords (Big dons honest records I think). All our hard work could have been avoided if we had just looked it up on Wikipedia or something. Anyway… Here it is.
