Daggerplay (Punk ‘n’ Roll, Finland) Stream New Full-Length “Subterranean Reality”

The Finnish fusion of punk and rock and roll that is Daggerplay are allowing fans to stream their entire new record. The effort is titled Subterranean Reality and features fourteen tracks that straddle the aforementioned genres.

If classic riffage set to a punk rock tempo sounds up your street, you can listen to Subterranean Reality below. The previous full-length release from the four-piece was 2013’s Urban Campfire Songs.

Daggerplay (punk ‘n’ roll, Finland) Stream Music Video for “Cruel Wind Blowing”

Helsinki’s Daggerplay are streaming a music video for their latest release called “Cruel Wind Blowing”. The track is the fourth single from a forthcoming record which is due to come out at some point in 2018. The precise date and title are yet to be announced.

Daggerplay’s guitarist and vocalist, Pekko Mantzin, had the following to say about the single:

“”Cruel Wind Blowing” is a very melancholic but yet groovy, melodic and and fast rock´n´roll roll song with lyrics about being lonely, lost and mentally fragile… “Deeper in black I´m falling, throw me a rope. Am I too slow to catch it or will I let it go?”…. that´s the line that kind of sums up what the song is about.”

Daggerplay (punk) release new song “Afterlife”

Finnish punks Daggerplay have released a new single “Afterlife”.

The new single is the second new song this year and third since November, which leaves fans hoping this leads to the band’s second full length release which would be the first since 2013’s “Urban Campfire Songs”.

Finnish punk ‘n’ roll band Daggerplay have released a new single titled “Ghosts”. Check it out below.

This song is the band’s first new music since their 2016 single “One Mile Town”.

Helsinki, Finland’s Daggerplay have released a video for their song “One Mile Town,” and you can watch it below.

The hook-laden punk & roll track will appear on Daggerplay’s upcoming release, which is yet to be named.  The album should be out in the spring of 2017, and we’ll keep you posted on that.
