American Television (punk) stream new EP “Reaction”

DC area melodic-punk band American Television has just released their second EP, Reaction. and you can stream the entire thing below.

The new EP features a sound much matured from their earlier pop-punk days heard on 2015’s Let’s Play Two.

To celebrate the release, American Television will be having an EP release party at Velvet Lounge Saturday April 23 with Dot Dash, Wolves&Wolves&Wolves&Wolves, and Spirit Plots.

East Coast punk act American Television has released a video for their song “Optimist” which is one track in a two song digital release entitled “Let’s Play Two” coming out next week. Check out the video below.

The DC area pop-punk band has had some false starts over the years with member changes and a hiatus for lead singer, Steve Rovery, becoming a dad last year. But their optimism and perseverance has finally led them to their current lineup.

The band’s last (and only) release was a single back in November of 2013.

American Television is a new punk ‘n roll band out of Northern Virginia/Washington DC featuring the singer from Pumps. In early 2014 the band will be releasing their debut EP and to give you a taste of what’s to come, they are debuting a new track called “Sorry Sara” from their forthcoming EP.
