The Maine release the single ‘Numb Without You’ and announce new album

The Maine have announced their seventh studio album ‘You Are Ok’ (out March 29th) and have released the first single ‘Numb Without You’. Their last full-length self-released record ‘Lovely Little Lonely’ came out in 2017. The Maine have mixed up their sound over the years, ranging from pop punk to indie-rock, this new release seems more pop rock. It’s a decent enough song by the time it reaches the chorus.

Mayday Parade announce 2016 US spring tour with The Maine and Better Off

Florida pop-punk group Mayday Parade have announced that they will be heading out on a tour of the US this coming spring with Arizona’s The Maine and Tennessee based rockers Better Off. You can check out a full list of dates and locations below.

Mayday Parade released their latest album Black Lines on October 9th, 2015 through Fearless Records as a follow-up to their 2013 full-length Monsters in the Closet. The Maine released their latest album  American Candy on March 31st, 2015, which served as a follow-up to their 2013 EP Imaginary Numbers. Better Off’s latest release includes their 2015 album Milk, which was released on September 11th, 2015 through Equal Vision Records.



Tracklist announced for “Music for Boobies” fundraiser compilation

The Keep a Breast Foundation, which raises money for breast cancer education around the world, has announced the tracklist for their upcoming fundraising compilation.  50% of the proceeds will go directly to the Foundation’s outreach efforts.

The comp will feature The Maine covering the classic “You Get What You Give,” and Angels and Airwaves singing a new version of their song “Saturday Love.”

The comp will be released on March 18th, but you can pre-order a copy here.



The Maine announces dates for “Free for All” U.S. tour

Not much in life is free, but don’t tell that to the guys in The Maine.  As a way to thank fans for their support, the Arizona-based emo band is playing a string of free shows across the U.S.  In addition, they will be adding in some ticketed shows at smaller, more intimate venues, in which they will play their new album, American Candy, in its entirety.

Kennedy Brock of The Maine successfully has tumor removed from thoracic spine

Kennedy Brock of The Maine has just successfully had a tumor removed from his thoracic spine. The tumor was initially discovered during the time in which the band was recording their latest album, American Candy. The following is the statement released by Brock:

During our time recording American Candy, a tumor was found on my thoracic spine. I went through a tricky surgery to remove it, but everything went as good as humanly possible and it has since been classified as benign. I am currently healthy and free of my unwanted friend, but still very sore and healing. I am writing to request that everyone please be gentle, with hugs and such, while hanging out with me over the next few months. I love you all and couldn’t be happier to be seeing you all again soon! #AMERICANCANDY #8123 #Nigelthetumor

American Candy will be the band’s fifth full-length album, slated for release this spring and serving as a follow-up to their EP Imaginary Numbers, which was launched in December 2013.

The band has also announced an extensive US tour to promote the new work. The tour will begin in Arizona on April 3rd, and will continue up the West Coast before traveling eastbound. You can check out the dates and locations for that tour below.



Knuckle Puck joins The Maine on 2015 tour

Chicago pop-punk band Knuckle Puck have announced that they will be joining The Maine on their upcoming US 2015 tour titled “The American Candy Tour.” The tour will also have Chicago pop-punks Real Friends and The Technicolors on it as well.

Knuckle Puck recently signed to Rise Records and will release their debut full length this coming summer.
