Nerf Herder returns to Chicago to play inaugural “Merry Punking Christmas”

Punk vets Nerf Herder will return to Chicago for the first time in seventeen long years to play the inaugural “Merry Punking Christmas” at Reggies. Joining Nerf Herder for this, the most joyous of occasions will be: The Copyrights, Dan Vapid & The Cheats, and Capgun Heroes. The show will go down December 7th as mentioned above at the world-famous Reggies.

Bowling For Soup to Co-Headline US Tour with Reel Big Fish

Bowling For Soup and Reel Big Fish will be hitting the road together this summer. Starting June 19, the two bands will perform a total of 19 shows together across the US. Joining the pair at select shows will be California’s Nerf Herder and Illinois’s Mest.

The previous release from Bowling For Soup was the 2016 album, Drunk Dynasty. Meanwhile, the equivalent for Reel Big Fish was 2018’s Life Sucks… Let’s Dance. 



Nerf Herder stream new song “The Girl Who Listened to Rush” off upcoming album “Rockingham”

Californian pop-“geek”-punk veterans Nerf Herder are streaming their brand new song “The Girl Who Listened to Rush”, which pays tribute to the iconic Canadian rock band Rush. You can listen to the song below.

“The Girl Who Listened to Rush” is taken from Nerf Herder’s upcoming album Rockingham, which is due for release this Friday (March 11th) through their own label Golfshirt Records. It will be their first album in 8 years, since 2008’s Nerf Herder IV.

Nerf Herder launching crowd funded campaign to record new album

Californian pop-“geek”-punk veterans Nerf Herder will soon be releasing a new album but the band is asking their fans to help them with funding the recording process by launching a crowdfunded campaign.

Here’s what Nerf Herder stated:

“Greetings….

We invite you to ride along on a very important mission. The journey has already begun, but we implore you to join the alliance so we may achieve our final objective. With your help, we’re sure that we can work out an arrangement that will be mutually (and musically) beneficial. As a token of our goodwill, we present to you this gift: A NEW ALBUM. We are hardworking and the record will serve you well.”

Nerf Herder release new song, “I’m the Droid You’re Looking For”

Nerdy pop-punkers Nerf Herder are streaming a new song, called “I’m the Droid You’re Looking For.” The track will appear on the compilation “Crappy Records Presents: Have a Crappy Summer” alongside music from MC Lars, Bowling For Soup, The Dollyrots, Patent Pending, Smoking Popes and others.
