Horror-pop-punk act Horror Section have released a new song called “Forever Close,” and you can hear it below. The song comes from Wedding Split, which is pretty much what it sounds like, a split EP along with The Putz, Young Rochelles, and Eaten Back To Life, made as a wedding gift. It was released on Mom’s Basement Records.
Horror Section last released a split with Eaten Back To Life called Split In Two in September 2014.

If you like horror movies, nudity and pop-punk acts like Masked Intruder, Teenage Bottlerocket and Screeching Weasel you’re gonna love the latest video from horror-pop-punk act Horror Section. It’s for their tune “Killer In The Dark” which appears on their “The Prowler” EP recently released through Eccentric Pop Records.
Check out the video (careful, it’s got some female nudity) below along with a full EP stream of “The Prowler”. Two thumbs up from this DS editor!
So a while back, I tossed around the idea of writing what was basically a think piece about how there continue to be loads of awesome bands with a variety of interesting influences emerging every year, but for the old guys who grew up on early 80s hardcore, there didn't seem to be anything new to sink our teeth into. But think pieces are dreadful, so I didn't write it. Also, turns out, I would have been wrong! Enter: School Drugs. Hailing from the Jersey Shore, the quartet are hard, fast, angry and aggressive, a byproduct of a knee-jerk educational system that seems hellbent on medicating a generation of school children. It's like if Bad Brains or Black Flag grew up hooked on Ritalin. Check out their latest, razor-sharp EP Relative Suffering here!
