Duck & Cover (pop-punk) streaming new album “Rob Them Blind”

Massachusetts pop-punks Duck & Cover are streaming their new album Rob Them Blind. The album features eight catchy tunes, Dead To Rights was my favorite track on the new album. The heavy guitar riffs combined with the Weezeresque delivery of the vocals make for a very 90’s pop-punk sound.

Check out the new album below.

This is the first new music from Duck & Cover since the 2016 release of Stuck In Decline. If you’re a fan of Screeching Weasel or The Riptides you will enjoy these guys.

Duck & Cover (pop-punk) streaming two new songs off of upcoming EP “Rob Them Blind”

Charlestown punks Duck & Cover are streaming the tracks “Live It Up” and “Stand Corrected” off of their upcoming EP Rob Them Blind. Out August 10th on Rum Bar Records, the EP features eight new songs, and if the first two are any sign of what we can expect from the rest of the record, we are all in for a treat.

Check out the first two songs off the new EP below.

This is the first new music from Duck & Cover since 2016’s Stuck In Decline. If you’re a fan of The Riptides or Screeching Weasel, Duck & Cover gives you the best of both with some cleaner vocals.

State Line Records releases “They Came From Boston Volume 1”

Boston’s State Line Records has released a 12-track compilation called They Came from Boston, Volume 1.  The comp features three tracks each from 4 Boston-based bands: Stray Bullets, The Warning ShotsDuck & Cover and  oi! band Blood Stained Brindle.  You can stream it below.

State Line Records is owned by The Warning Shots’ singer Mark Lind, who you also know as the bassist/vocalist of Boston punk band The Ducky Boys.  Stray Bullets most recently released Ghost Town Rockers on our very own Dying Scene Records.  You can find Blood Stained Brindle’s debut Red Shield EP here, and you can check out Duck & Cover’s discography here.

If you like what you hear on the comp, you can download a copy or purchase a hardcopy vinyl here.  Hopefully the fact that this is listed as Volume 1 means that there’s more comps to come from this label.
