Happy Hump Day…The Fullblast are back!
The Ontarian progressive punks, who’ve been effectively defunct since 2006, have announced plans to play a few shows in their home province (and in Detroit). While they won’t be returning to being a full-time touring band in the foreseeable future, there is a new EP in the works. Here’s what the band had to say (via Facebook):
Okay, so – as you may have noticed, there’s been some activity around here and we’re happy to finally let you in on what’s been going on. In short – we’re sort of a band again! Not the kind that tours and is the number one priority in all of our lives, but the kind that allows friends to come together creatively and have fun. We’ve begun recording an EP of new material which we are very excited about. No immediate details on when or how it will be released, but we’re working on it. Additionally, we’re stoked to announce 3 shows coming up in December in Toronto (Sneaky Dee’s), Detroit (The Swellers final Detroit show) and Burlington (BURLY CALLING) Tickets are on sale now !
Stay tuned for more news on the EP! In the meanwhile, head below to find out where exactly The Fullblast will be playing!
The Fullblast’s last album was 2006’s “Short Controlled Bursts,” which was released via Dine Alone Records.
