The Affect Heuristic and Wolfrik Announce Spring European Tour Dates

Megabus-frequenting technical hardcore act, The Affect Heuristic, and Canadian thrashers Wolfrik have announced a European tour. The two bands will perform 16 shows across a total of six countries in April and May. On the way they’ll be stopping off at Manchester Punk Festival and SBAM in Austria.

You can check out the full list of cities on a larger version of the tour poster below. For now, only some of the specific venues are available at either band’s Facebook page. No doubt these will be updated soon.

The Affect Heuristic’s previous release was the 2018 split with German skate punkers Money Left to Burn titled Vs. Wolfrik’s was the E.P. Skeleton City, which came out the previous year.



The Siknotes (Punk, UK) Stream Latest Album “Welcome to the Party, Pal”

UK-based purveyors of rapid ’90s style punk rock The Siknotes are allowing fans to stream their entire latest album. It’s titled Welcome to the Party, Pal and features eleven tracks inspired by hard drinking and classic Fat Wreck Chord’s bands.

The Siknotes are also hitting the road later this month to promote their new record. They’ll be boozing their way through eight European towns and cities with German skate punks Money Left to Burn in late May/early June.

You can check out all of Welcome to the Party, Pal as well as the tour poster below. Physical copies of the album will be available on May 20th for the CD and June 10th for vinyl.



Money Left to Burn (Germany) and The Affect Heuristic (Belgium/Scotland) Release Split

One of Germany’s finest skate punk bands have united with the multi-national newcomers of The Affect Heuristic to release a split entitled Money Left to Burn vs The Affect Heuristic. The record features five tracks from each band and is available via Lockjaw Records now. If you want to try before you buy, you can listen to it all below.

Whilst this is the first release from The Affect Heuristic, Money Left to Burn‘s previous offering was a 2015 split with Rebuke.



The Siknotes (Punk, UK) Announce Album “Welcome to the Party, Pal” and Stream Teaser Track

The UK-based beer swiggers in The Siknotes have announced that they will release their latest album on April 22, 2018. The record is titled Welcome to the Party, Pal and will be available on Morning Wood and Bad Granola Records. The band are currently taking pre-orders for the album over at their bandcamp page.

The Siknotes describe their latest effort as being for fans of “Fat Wreck, partying, and Die Hard.”

As well as the new record, The Siknotes will be hitting the road with German skate punkers Money Left to Burn.

Rebuke and Money Left To Burn release their split album

Swedish skate punk act Rebuke and the the like-minded German band Money Left To Burn have released their split comprised of 10 tracks.  The album was officially released today via Disconnect Disconnect Records.  Give it a listen below!

Rebuke last released their Camino Del Rey EP in 2012, while Money Left To Burn last released Sucker in 2011.



Money Left To Burn release video for new song “Finish Line”

German skate punk band Money Left To Burn have released a music video for a new song titled “Finish Line,” from their upcoming split album with Swedish skate punk act Rebuke. Check out the video below.

The split album will be released on June 1st through Disconnect Disconnect Records. Money Left To Burn last released their EP, Sucker, back in 2011.
