It’s been twelve years since My Chemical Romance first premiered their single “Teenagers” at the height of the emo/pop-punk intersection, but now Jersey boys Save Face have brought it out of retirement. There’s a lot of the same elements to be found here, though the Save Face version is a little tighter and cleaner than the MCR original, especially when it comes to vocalist Tyler Povanda’s performance. Jersey punks Save Face have released a video for their new song “Bummer”. The song comes from the band’s split EP with Graduating Life. The video which is a shot of the band playing the song while an all out party is unleashed around them. All in all, it looks like a pretty great time. Made official on April 4, New Jersey band Save Face has signed to become part of the Epitaph Records family. The band immediately made their label debut as well with the release of their new single “Bad”.
