Daytrader, This is Hell, Into It. Over It., more announced for Long Island Fest

The first round of bands has been announced for this year’s Long Island Fest, which will happen June 10 and 11 at the Bergen Point Country Club and June 12 at Bay Shore Sinai Reform Temple.

So far the bands on the roster are Bottom Out, Brooksite, Capital, Cipher, Compound, Daytrader, Foundation, Grey Area, Hardside, Incendiary, Into It. Over It., Iron Chic, Line Of Scrimmage, Most Precious Blood, Mother Of Mercy, Punishment Due, State Lines, Stick Together, The Partisan Turbine (Reunion), Thieves and Assassins, This Is Hell, World Of Pain, and Xibalba.

More will be announced later on. At the moment a three-day pass is $42, but that will go up. For more information, check out their Facebook event page.

New Music: Capital – “Conspiracy Theories”

Long Island hardcore-punk act Capital have posted a new song titled “Conspiracy Theories” to their Bandcamp page. The song is off their upcoming album “Givers Takers,” which is being mixed by Propagandhi’s Chris Hannah.

Long Island hardcore-punk act, Capital, is soon releasing their 3rd album and they are super stoked (as they should be) that Propagandhi’s Chris Hannah is doing the mixing on the release.  Not much more is known about the release as of now but if you’re unfamiliar with the band you should give them a listen on their MySpace page.
