Grabass Charlestons stream “Apocalypse Whenever” off upcoming album

Florida pop-punkers Grabass Charlestons are streaming a brand new song titled “Apocalypse Whenever” and you can stream it right here.

The track will appear on the band’s upcoming full-length, Dale & the Careeners due out on October 23rd via No Idea Records.  It’ll be the band’s first full-length since their 2005 release Ask Mark Twain.  However, you’ll remember that Grabass Charlestons have released splits with Toys That Kill, The Ergs, and The Arrivals in the last few years.



Grabass Charlestons announce new full-length album “Dale & the Careeners”

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Florida pop-punkers Grabass Charlestons, but they’re back on the radar now with a new album.  The band will be releasing Dale & the Careeners on October 23rd via No Idea Records.  It’ll be the band’s first full-length since their 2005 release Ask Mark Twain.  However, you’ll remember that Grabass Charlestons have released splits with Toys That Kill, The Ergs, and The Arrivals in the last few years.

But back to the new album…

It’ll be Grabass Charlestons’ first recorded release with drummer Ryan Quinney, who took over on drums in 2010.  Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but the band is hoping to tour the Southeast in support of the new album.

Grabass Charlestons celebrate their 10 years by adding a new member

Shortly after celebrating their 10 years as a 3-piece act, Gainsville’s natives Grabass Charlestons have decided to add a fourth member to their line up. The arrangement will feature Ryan Quinney (Fiya, Holopaw, Nervous Dogs) on drums while former drummer Will Thomas will move on to take up vocal and second guitar duties for the band.

The Florida act will debut their new line-up at this year’s upcoming The Fest 9.

Amp Magazine is streaming the entire split LP between Gainesville’s Grabass Charlestons and San Pedro’s Toys That Kill right here.  The album was recently released on No Idea Records.

Grabass Charlestons have previously released two 7”s on Barracuda Sound, two LPs (Ask Mark Twain and The Greatest Story Every Hula’d), a split LP with Billy Reese Peters and a split 7” with The Ergs!; all on No Idea Records.

The band recently finished a US tour and are awaiting the release of their newest split LP, this time around with SoCal rockers Toys That Kill.
