Italy’s Thousand Oaks are streaming the track “The Roar of Consequence” off of their upcoming album Bound For Destruction. Scheduled for release April 19th through Punk & Disorderly Records this is an album you won’t want to miss. If the first song is any indication the rest of this album is going to be a peach.

Two of Europe’s finest melodic punk rock bands have teamed up to release a split record. It’s titled Antipodes and features two tracks from Finland’s One Hidden Frame and two from Italy’s Thousand Oaks

Might As Well Fest (London, UK) Announces 2018 Lineup

To celebrate its fourth year running, London’s Might As Well Fest has been working on a stellar lineup. The DIY, not-for-profit shindig will feature The Capitalist Kids (USA), Thousand Oaks (Italy), Aerial Salad (UK), Laserchrist (UK), and Tom Aylott (UK). More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

The festival itself will be held at London’s New Cross Inn for the first time in its short existence. You can find out ticket information here. Follow Might As Well Fest on Facebook for all the latest additions to the lineup as they’re announced.

 



Premiere: Thousand Oaks and One Hidden Frame Stream Tracks From Forthcoming Split “Antipodes”

Italy’s Thousand Oaks and Finland’s One Hidden Frame have announced a split 7″ together. The record will be titled Antipodes and is due for release on August 10, 2018.

It will be distributed by Bird Attack Records (US), Fast Decade Records (Finland), Disconnect Disconnect Records (UK), No Reason Records (Italy), and Milestone Sounds (Japan).

To get fans excited for the release, both bands have released a track from Antipodes. We’ve included them below. If you’re a fan of absolutely shredding melodic hardcore, you’re not going to want to miss this one!



Thousand Oaks/Too Close To See (Skate Punk) release split LP

London, UK’s Disconnect Disconnect Records have released a split album, featuring two skate punk bands from opposite sides of the globe. Italy’s Thousand Oaks (ex-Jet Market) and Japan’s Too Close To See have released “Memories & Milestones”. The album sees each band offer up five tracks. The album was out yesterday (Friday 19th January), streaming on all the usual platforms, including Spotify.

Thousand Oaks released full length “Monsters Begetting Monsters” on the label back in 2016, whilst Too Close To See are to release a new album shortly.

Featuring the likes of Rebuke, Thousand Oaks and The Decline this compilation is an absolute must for fans of fast. It can be enjoyed it it’s entirety below but independents like Disconnect Disconnect could sure use the cash to keep bringing you such treats so get over there and buy it already.



Thousand Oaks (skate-punk, Italy) release “Monsters Begetting Monsters”

These days Italy seems mysteriously synonymous with world-class skate-punk bands and former Jet Market shredders Thousand Oaks are no exception. The release of the band’s debut album Monsters Begetting Monsters on Disconnect Disconnect Records coincided with their first gig together last Friday and the sense of urgency with which they are putting their wheels in motion will certainly excite those who remember Jet Market fondly.

The album’s lightning fast, technical and anthemic with buckets of melody. Fans of Strung Out, A Wilhelm Scream or Belvedere would be foolish to overlook it.

Thousand Oaks (skate punk) releases teaser for new album “Monsters Begetting Monsters”

Thousand Oaks is a four piece skate punk band from Rome, Italy. Its members used to play together in Jet Market, and earlier this year they formed Thousand Oaks.  The band just signed on with White Russian Records and now they’ve released a teaser for a new album called “Monsters Begetting Monsters.”  The album preorder info isn’t available yet, but we’ll keep you updated. “Monsters Begetting Monsters” will be released all over the world on January 25th through multiple records labels including Milestone Sounds, NoReason, Going Blind Records, Disconnect Disconnect, and No Panic! Records.
