North Alone (folk-punk) streaming new song “For Milo”

German folk-punks North Alone have recently had a tiny addition to the band in the form of lead singer Manuel North’s little son Milo being born. In honor of this amazing moment, North Alone has released the track “For Milo”.

I warn you if you’re a parent watching your kids grow up way too fast, this song will definitely bring on the mist. Seriously though, go check it out below.

North Alone is hot off the heels of releasing possibly the best album of the year, Next Stop, CA. If you enjoy sounds you’ll enjoy these guys, that is literally how awesome they are!

North Alone recently released a video for the second single off their upcoming album “Next Stop CA”, due out May 4 on Country Bumpkin Records. The single is titled “My Music Sucks”. The album artwork and video can be found below, as well as a list of upcoming tour dates.

Their last release came in 2016 titled “Rare and Short”.

German folk punks North Alone have released a video for the song “Extralarge”. The video features various awesome t-shirts that may or may not fit, the song however fits, it’s already stuck in my head.

The song “Extralarge” comes off North Alone’s upcoming album which will be released May 4th. The new album will be titled “Next Stop CA” and represent the fifth release for the German folksters, the latest album “Rare and Short” was released in October of 2016.

Wow. By now I’ve heard enough mediocre covers of “International You Day” coming from our well intentioned punk scene to almost make me skip checking this one out when it appeared in my inbox. Luckily for all of us my dedication is unwavering when it comes to new music/band discovery! Germany’s folk-punk outfit North Alone have done a great job of carrying on the Tony Sly legacy in their take on the famous No Use For A Name song. It even features guest vocals from Jennie Cotterill of Bad Cop / Bad Cop.
