Take Notice launch YouTube channel, still looking for lead singer

If you’re wondering why you haven’t heard much from Detroit pop-punkers Take Notice, it’s because the Detroit-based three-piece are still desperately trying to become a Detroit-based four-piece: they are still looking for another new lead singer. Today, the band launched an official YouTube page, and encourage their fans to submit audition videos. Check out the new site here, and if you submit a video and get the gig, don’t forget who tipped you off!

Take Notice’s last release was “The Get Go” 7-inch, released on I Surrender Records back in 2009.



Take Notice looking for new lead singer. Again. Still manage to release new song

Three months after announcing the addition of new lead singer, Joe Sherman, Michigan’s pop-punk act Take Notice is once again on the hunt for a new vocalist.  It didn’t stop them from recording a new song though, and you can check it out on the band’s MySpace page.  It’s titled “This Is Where We’ll Stay Alive.”

The band also posted a video update on what they’re up to, which you can watch here.

Video: Update from Take Notice

Michigan’s Take Notice have recently announced their new singer (Joe Sherman) and this is the first major update from the guys since then. The video is 3 minutes of the guys talking about what’s new – their current recording session and Joe, for the most part. Check it out here.

The band’s last release was 2009’s The Get Go 7″, which was released on I Surrender Records. Hopefully we’ll hear more about the upcoming release and tours from the guys.



Take Notice announces new singer Joe Sherman

You can’t keep a good band down, and while it’s been quiet on the Take Notice front for a while now, they’ve just dropped an update on us – they’ve found a new singer in Joe Sherman, formerly of Graduation Day. A decision 8 months in the making, the band is following up the announcement with a studio session to record some new tracks. The Detroit pop-punks are back in action and will be providing us with studio updates and more shortly.

The band’s last release was The Get Go 7″, which was released last December on I Surrender Records. They haven’t announced any tour dates yet, but we’ll keep you posted – until then, they’ve got some tracks streaming on their MySpace page for your enjoyment.



Take Notice: Watch their first full length studio update

i-surrenderTake Notice have been busy in the studio working on their debut full-length for I Surrender Records. To show you what exactly it takes to record an album, they recently posted a video update. To be honest, there isn’t a whole lot of footage from in the studio..but you do get to see them dance around a lot, play with dogs, and walk around without their shirts on. Maybe that’s all you need to record an album? If so..count me in! (Except for the no shirt thing..) Anyway….watch the update and keep checking back for more.
