Oh, Sleeper release new music video for “Hush Yael”; head out on tour this week

Texas metal band Oh, Sleeper have released a new video for their song “Hush Yael”.

The track comes off the band’s latest album, “Children of Fire”, which was released through Solid State Records in 2011.

To Speak of Wolves stream new song

Greensboro, North Carolina’s screamo act To Speak of Wolves are streaming a new song titled “Stand Alone Complex” on their BandPage. The song features guest vocals by Micah Kinard of Texas metal act Oh Sleeper.

“Stand Alone Complex” is the first track off their new record “Find Your Worth, Come Home” due out this year on May 22nd.

Oh, Sleeper announce pre-order info for “Children of Fire,” offer download of new single “Endseekers”

Texas metal band Oh, Sleeper have announced pre-order options for their forthcoming album “Children Of Fire.”

The band are offering a host of goodies with the various pre-order options, ranging from flags to wristbands to a 54-page guitar tablature book (the latter of which is a pretty cool idea if you ask me). You can listen to a new song by Texas metal band Oh, Sleeper by “liking” their Facebook page. The song is called “Hush Yael,” and it appears on the band’s upcoming album “Children of Fire,” out September 27th on Solid State Records.

Texas-based Christian metalcore band Oh, Sleeper allegedly ‘ripped Dallas in half last night,’ and in the process they debuted a new song entitled “End Seekers.” To whet your appetite for more new Oh, Sleeper music, the band have posted a live performance video of the new song on their YouTube page. You can check it out here.

“End Seekers” will more than likely appear on the follow-up to the band’s 2009 Solid State release “Son of the Morning.”

Oh, Sleeper bassist Lucas Starr leaves the band

Texas Christian metalcore act Oh, Sleeper announced today that founding bass player Lucas Starr has decided it was time to become a responsible grown-up and move on from the band.  He’ll be replaced by the band’s friend Nate Grady, who has filled in on previous tours.

Tour: Oh, Sleeper co-headlining tour with The Bled

Oh, Sleeper is co-headlining their upcoming tour in September with The Bled.  Joining them will be A Plea for Purging and Letlive.  The tour will begin in California, but will come to an end in Texas in early October.

Oh, Sleeper drummer leaves the band

Oh, Sleeper announced today that their drummer Matt Davis has left the band and Zac Mayfield will be filling in. The band recently canceled their UK tour due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland but has a bunch of shows through the end of this month. Check out their Dying Scene Shows page for more details.

Oh, Sleeper cancel UK tour

The Icelandic volcano is still wreaking havoc in many parts of the world, doing untold damage to countless lives. And now, in an even more tragic story, Texas metal band Oh, Sleeper has been forced to cancel their upcoming tour in the UK due to the ban/restrictions on air travel currently in place. Oh, the tragedy! The band has stated it will try to get back to the UK as soon as possible.

Music Video: Oh, Sleeper – “The Finisher”

solidstate Oh, Sleeper have premiered the video for their song The Finisher, on AOL’s Noise Creep.  The video is a sequel to their last video for Son Of The Morning, and continues the metaphor-laden theme that permeates the Texas band’s lyrics.  Both videos were directed by Daniel Davidson.

The song appears on the band’s album Son Of The Morning, which was released in August, 2009 on Solid state Records.

We Came As Romans announce fall tour

Also, it looks like their Equal Vision Records debut full length will be released sometime around October 23rd as that is the day of their hometown CD release show.
