Might As Well Fest (London, UK) Announces 2018 Lineup

To celebrate its fourth year running, London’s Might As Well Fest has been working on a stellar lineup. The DIY, not-for-profit shindig will feature The Capitalist Kids (USA), Thousand Oaks (Italy), Aerial Salad (UK), Laserchrist (UK), and Tom Aylott (UK). More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

The festival itself will be held at London’s New Cross Inn for the first time in its short existence. You can find out ticket information here. Follow Might As Well Fest on Facebook for all the latest additions to the lineup as they’re announced.

 



Aerial Salad (Punk, UK) Hit the Road With The Raging Nathans (Punk, OH) in Europe

The UK’s Aerial Salad are heading out on tour with Ohio-based punks The Raging Nathans. The outing will see the two bands hit up 15 stops before arriving at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, England.

Aerial Salad’s latest release was the wildly popular Roach that came out last year. Meanwhile, The Raging Nathans’ equivalent was their 2018  full-length effort Cheap Fame. 

 

 

 



Alex Johnson (Wonk Unit) starts own label Plasterer Records

Alex Johnson of London punks Wonk Unit has started his own label, Plasterer Records. The debut releases come from Aerial Salad and The Dopamines, along with a repress of Wonk Unit’s “Nervous Racehorse”.

All releases are up for order now.

Manchester based three-piece Aerial Salad has launched a new video for its debut single ‘Check My Mind’. The track is taken from the band’s yet to be named debut album that will be out later this year.

Manchester punk rock three-piece Aerial Salad are streaming the debut single from their forthcoming record Roach. The track is titled “Check My Mind” and has an unmistakably classic-Greenday feel to it.

Check out the single below, and watch this space for more news about the full album release. It’s due out later this summer but as yet, there has been no official announcement.
