Manchester Punk Festival (UK) Streams Latest Pre-Fest Sampler

Historically, the kindly folks over at Manchester Punk Festival take great pleasure in showering you lovely lot with treats to get you in the mood for their event. This year is no exception.

The team behind the largest embrace of DIY punk culture ever known on UK shores has once again compiled a sampler of acts performing at the next edition of the festival. Manchester Punk Festival Vol. 20 features tunes from the likes of Fair Do’s, Big Joanie, Habits, Templeton Pek, Burning Flag, A Vulture Wake, and many, many others.

You can check out the entire compilation below. It’s “pay what you like” so make sure to chuck them some change for all the hard work they do for the national and international punk scene.

A Vulture Wake (Melodic Hardcore, TX) Stream Latest EP “Fall Prey”

Punk rock super group A Vulture Wake have just released their latest EP via Bird Attack Records. The release is titled Fall Prey and features three tracks of super-melodic. up-tempo punk. You can check it out in full below.

A Vulture Wake features members of All, Lagwagon, Good Riddance, and other legendary bands. Their previous release was a full-length called The Appropriate Level of Outrage, which came out earlier this year.

“Feed The Machine” comes off the band’s forthcoming EP Fall Prey, that is scheduled to be released October 19th on Bird Attack Records. This is the first new music for A Vulture Wake since they released The Appropriate Level of Outrage back in January of this year.

Punk supergroup A Vulture Wake are finally streaming their newest album, The Appropriate Level Of Outrage, in full. The 10-track album is a combination of sounds that each band member brings from their own bands and it is a necessary release for fans of any of their respective bands.

Punk supergroup A Vulture Wake are streaming another song off their highly-anticipated debut album The Appropriate Level of Outrage. The track’s called “Running Back Home”, and you can check it out below.

Punk supergroup A Vulture Wake have premiered more songs off their upcoming debut album The Appropriate Level of Outrage. All three songs that are currently streaming can be heard below.

A Vulture Wake release new single “Old World Order”

Last week we reported on the formation of a “supergroup” of sorts. Today we learn of their ability to put out super music. A Vultures Wake consisting of Chad Price (All/Drag the River), Joe Raposo (Lagwagon/RKL), Sean Sellers (Real McKenzies/Good Riddance) and Brandon D. Landelius (The Mag Seven) have released the first taste of what’s to come.

The band released the single “Old World Order” which you can check out below.

The full album is expected to be released in January of 2018 on Bird Attack



Punk “supergroup” A Vulture Wake announce new album

Punk supergroup A Vulture Wake consisting of Chad Price (All/Drag the River), Joe Raposo (Lagwagon/RKL), Sean Sellers (Real McKenzies/Good Riddance) and Brandon D. Landelius (The Mag Seven) have announced they will be releasing a full length album. Expected to be released in January 2018 the new album titled “The Appropriate Level of Outrage” was recorded at the infamous Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado.

With no tracks being released yet the band describes the sound as honest, energetic, passionate, and at times technical punk rock with the songs always maintaining a strong sense of melody. The album will be released through Bird Attack and will be followed up with an EP in the spring of 2018. The band has played some shows with 7 Seconds, Strung Out, Pulley and more. They haven’t set any dates yet but they plan on touring in the coming year.
