Small Brown Bike stream “Recollected”

Small Brown Bike, a Michigan gravelcore band, have released a new double LP, “Recollected”.  The albums are a collection of songs taken from their splits, as well as a couple covers and live recordings. “Recollected” is being released on band member Travis Dopp’s label Old Point Light.

Small Brown Bike stream “My Unanswered Whys” off upcoming rarities comp “Recollected”

Small Brown Bike will release a rarities compilation entitled “Recollected” on May 28th and and will be featuring band memorabilia, the remastered release of the album “Collection” as well as eleven unreleased tracks.

The song originally appeared on a limited split with Cursive in 2001. The band’s last album, “Fell and Found” was released April 2011 on No Idea Records.



Small Brown Bike to release “Recollected” box set

Small Brown Bike have just announced details on their upcoming “Recollected” box set. “Recollected” will be released on May 7th and will be featuring band memorabilia, the remastered release of the album “Collection” as well as eleven unreleased tracks.

“Fell And Found” was released April 26 on No Idea Records. The group’s last LP, The River Bed, came out way back in 2003, though the band released a couple of 7-inches, The Composite Vol. 1 and The Composite Vol. 2, in 2009 and early 2010.

Michigan’s post-hardcore band Small Brown Bike is streaming the title track off their upcoming album, “Fell and Found.” The song, called “Fell and Found (The Walk)” can be found here.

“Fell And Found” will be released April 26 on No Idea Records. The group’s last LP, The River Bed, came out way back in 2003, though the band released a couple of 7-inches, The Composite Vol. 1 and The Composite Vol. 2, in 2009 and early 2010.

The band previously released four other tracks: “Rescue Mission,” “A Minor Movement,” “In Need Of Everything,” and “As We Go.”

Video: Small Brown Bike post studio update for first LP in seven years

Go to fullsize imageMichiganders, Small Brown Bike, have provided us with the second studio update for their upcoming No Idea Records release.  Not a ton of action in the video as they just recently began recording (with producer J. Robbins of Against Me! and Mewithoutyou fame), but it’s still a nice peek into what the album will be like.

Small Brown Bike issued a couple of 7″s recently.  Entitled Composite, Vol. 1 and Composite, Vol. 2, the EPs were released late last year and earlier this year, respectively.  This upcoming LP will be the band’s first in seven years since 2003’s The River Bed.



Small Brown Bike enter studio

Small Brown Bike have entered the studio to begin work on their new album for No Idea Records. Fans of the band can stay updated with what’s going on by checking out their studio blog.

The band has released a couple of 7″ these past 2 years. In 2009, the band released  Composite (Vol. 1) that included the tracks When We Run and Hourglass and earlier this year, they released Composite (Vol. 2) that included Some Optomistic and Never Walk This Alone.

Video: Small Brown Bike and Bridge and Tunnel acoustic show at Generation Records

Michigan’s Small Brown Bike and New York’s Bridge and Tunnel are featured in videos of their acoustic show at Generation Records in New York this past May.  Each video consists of one song from each band and you can check them both out here.

Small Brown Bike released a 7″ this past March, and Bridge and Tunnel released a 10″ in June, both on No Idea Records.
