Gary Yay (solo, UK) releases video for “Down On The Inside”

Gary Yay, who’s been in a ton of punk bands in the UK over the years (Telegraphs, Eager Teeth, Summerslam ’88, Poindexter and more recently as guitarist in Phinius Gage), recently released his debut solo album. When I Grow Up To Be A Man. He’s now done a video for a track from it, “Down On The Inside”.

Gary Yay (solo project, pop punk) releases Smiths cover

Gary Yay, who’s been in several UK  bands over the years (Telegraphs, Eager Teeth, Summerslam ’88, Poindexter and more recently as guitarist in Phinius Gage), has released a cover of The Smiths song ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’. Gary released his debut solo album, ‘When I Grow Up To Be A Man’, in March this year.

Gary Yay (solo project/pop punk) releases another song ‘She Came Back From Yesterday’

This site posted a song by UK musician Gary Yay last month ahead of his upcoming solo album. Gary has been on the UK punk scene for a long time now (in bands such as Poindexter, The Telegraphs and Eager Teeth). Ahead of his upcoming album, he has released another song ‘She Came Back From Yesterday’. 

The album ‘When I Grow Up To Be A Man’ will be out in March. Check out the nicely-crafted pop song below.



Gary Yay (solo project/pop-punk, UK) streams debut track

Gary Yay, who’s been in a ton of punk bands in the UK over the years (Telegraphs, Eager Teeth, Summerslam ’88, Poindexter and more recently as guitarist in Phinius Gage), has released the first track, “Steven, is it really so strange?” from his upcoming debut solo album.

The track was co-written by members of Harker and River Jumpers. The album is out next month and is called When I Grow Up To Be A Man. Have a listen to the track below.
