DS Exclusive: No Real Hero premieres “The Forest” EP

Dying Scene is stoked to roll out the red-carpet premiere of Montreal band No Real Hero‘s new EP, The Forest, out September 6, 2018 on Thousand Islands Records. Pre-orders are on sale now and available hereThe Forest is a wonderful follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut, which highlights the band revolving around heavy metal riffs and a punk rock attitude.

With The Forest, members of No Real Hero have garnished their sound splendidly, and evolved it into a much subtler simpatico development of punk rock with some of the band’s heavier influences than in their previous release, giving it some of those Fat Wreck Chords-esque characteristics we’ve all come to know and love, while still maintaining all the (abused) substance and charm of a good ol’ dirty rock and roll band. It’s a beautiful thing when a band finds itself and comes together, and The Forest wreaks of band maturation. So much for eternal adolescence, ehh guys?

Stream The Forest below.
