Pretty cool new video for your viewing enjoyment today, boys and girls.
It comes to us from none-other than Finnish punk rockers Custody. The track is called “Tuesdays,” and according to the band, it’s about their habit of getting together on Tuesdays to carve out new music. It’s Custody’s half of a new split single with fellow Finnish punkers The Phoenix Foundation. The new release is due out today (March 14th) on Little Rocket Records; head here to get one of your very own, and in the meantime, check out the video for “Tuesday” below!

Check out the new track as well as the lead single “Red Alert” below.
Join the Outsiders is the début album for Dave Smalley & The Bandoleros. When asked about the upcoming release the band had this to say: “Punk rock and hardcore have always been a family. Together the bands, fans, fanzines, record labels, studios, radio shows, clubs and festivals created this whole world and it’s an amazing ecosystem, but we are always going to be “the outsiders” compared to the mainstream. This song is just a reminder that you are not alone. When things get tough, depend on your friends and the music.” So hurry up and check out the new song!

Frankie Stubbs, longtime vocalist and guitarist for the legendary – and now defunct – UK punk band Leatherface, has played a handful of acoustic gigs in the years since his main band called it quits in 2012. During a recent such show in Germany, Stubbs dedicated the Leatherface classic “Never Say Goodbye” (from their final full-length, 2010’s The Stormy Petrel) to his former band’s bass player, Dickie Hammond, who passed away in November 2015. As you might expect, the crowd joined Stubbs on vocals, for what seems to have been a pretty emotional moment (great quality video is available here).
If you weren’t aware, Stubbs is slated to make another one of his rare solo, acoustic appearances at Pouzza Fest 8 in Montreal this weekend. He’s been rehearsing in the Little Rocket Records studio in the UK, where he was recorded by fellow Leatherface bandmate (and Pouzza co-curator) Graeme Philliskirk. Little Rocket and Stubbs have teamed up to release an acoustic studio version of the above-named classic, and you can check it out here for the very first time. Stream it below!
Leatherface’s last release was their 2011 live album, Viva La Arthouse.
EDITOR’S NOTE: An earlier version of this story referred to the late Dickie Hammond as Leatherface’s bass player. He, of course, played guitar; Philliskirk played bass.

The incredibly enigmatic, London based, supposed supergroup BarCreeps have released their new single “Calico” via Little Rocket Records. After previously streaming the song on the Little Rocket Bandcamp page, the actual release comes with a .pdf booklet and features the B-side “Troll”, which was released earlier this year on a Little Rocket Records compilation.
The mystery band will undoubtedly be unveiling themselves, as tonight marks the first show of a small, four date stretch in the UK that the band has dubbed “Calico Tour 2016”. Check out the tour poster below for dates.
On top of everything, The band has also mentioned the release of a music video for “Calico”, though there was no mention of any particular release date, or any other details for that matter. Classic Barcreeps.

BarCreeps is a new punk band from London that is reportedly a super group. The only thing is, no one knows who’s in the band. Promo material only shows the lovely faces you see to the left, and live shots on their Facebook are all obscured and blurry. Someone might be able to figure out some of the members from those photos though. Who’s up for a little sleuthing?
We do know the band members have played with or alongside Fugazi, Amy Winehouse, The Pipettes, a Ramones tribute act, The Young Playthings, The Beastie Boys and have even had a song covered by Mark Ronson.
The band is currently streaming a new single “Calico”, which is set to be released on September 30th. You can give it a listen here.
