Don’t Panic Records & Distro Announces Benefit Compilation for Chicago IWW

Chicago’s Don’t Panic Records & Distro has announced We Don’t Work May 1st: A Compilation to Benefit the Strike Fund of Greater Chicago IWW. The collection of music features a total of 25 bands, each contributing one track and, as the title suggests, the proceeds from its release will go towards the Chicago chapter of International Workers of the World .

As you might expect, the theme is heavily political. There are tracks from La Armada, Underwire, Indisposed, as well as a host of others, and we’re pleased to hear a fair bit of sonic filth from the likes of Payasa on there too.

You can stream a few of the tracks below ahead of the compilation’s general release on May 1.
