New Music: Moral Dilemma (UK punk) – “Lost Cause For Alarm”

New music out of London for your Hump Day evening (or for your early Thursday morning if you actually live in London). It’s a song called “Lost Cause For Alarm,” by a three-piece punk/hardcore outfit called Moral Dilemma. The track appears on the band’s forthcoming album, “Is Anyone Alive Out There.” Check it out below.

While the album is the band’s third, it’s also, unfortunately, their last. Seems they decided to split up right after recording it. Bummer. Anyway, they’ve launched a pledge campaign to actually get “Is Anyone Alive Out There” pressed and released. Click here to check out funding options if you’re so inclined.



The Arteries announce ‘Restless’ EP

UK punk group The Arteries have announced a new six song EP titled Restless to be released on March 18 though Specialist Subject, Kiss of Death, and Angry Chuck Records. The band will be supporting the new release on their previously announced UK tour dates.

The Arteries last released a split 7″ with The Arrivals in November via All in Vinyl.

Free Album Download: Arteries – “Dead Sea”

UK punk rockers, The Arteries, are offering their 2010 album “Dead Sea” as a pay what you want download on their bandcamp page.  It’s a pretty solid release and worth checking out if you haven’t already.

The Arteries plan to begin writing again when their drummer, Rhys, heals from a hand injury.



Grand Central offer download of EP “01”, premiere video for “Hollow”

France’s Grand Central are offering a free download of their new EP “01”.  The album is scheduled to be released on December 9 on Hellvice I Vicious Records, but you can download it for free right now, here.

They are also premiering the video for their song “Hollow”.  To see the video, look here.

Grand Central is made up of ex-members from french bands SMSCREW and Madame de Montespan and they play a combination of hardcore, punk and Rock’n’Roll.

Brit punks The Arteries have a (pretty much) full list of tour dates up on their website now. They’ll be playing around Europe, including their hometown of Swansea, throughout January and February, with a few dates in April.

2 songs, ‘Shitty Band’ and ‘Mutual Friends’ are going on a split 7″ with Cut Ups.  You can listen to “Mutual Friends” on The Arteries MySpace page.  2 songs, ‘Paying For The Name’ and ‘Turborocket’ are being featured on a 7″ as part of the ‘Art Of The Underground’ single series.  And ‘Nail Scale’ will be featured on a 4 way split 7″ titled ‘Brits Abroad’ along with Bangers, Brothers and OK Pilot.

All 3 of these 7 inches will be out this October.
