Eat Defeat announce departure of drummer

According to a recent post on their Facebook page, UK melodic punk/ska band Eat Defeat will be parting ways with their drummer Jake following the two shows they’re playing in Scotland next weekend:

“It breaks our heart to announce this, but after next weekends Scottish weekend of joy we’ll be saying goodbye to our drummer, Jake. Jake unfortunately has a bad case of having a real life, and hanging around with us listening to Katy Perry is no longer something he can continue with.

This obviously leaves us in a tough spot and without a drummer, so if you or someone you know might be up for filling the empty drum stool Jake is leaving behind then please drop us a message!!!

We’ll be seeing Jake out in style next week first at Plan B Books in Glasgow on the 28th and then at Bansee Labyrinth in Edinburgh on the 29th. We expect to see some Scottish chums!”

If you’re in the Leeds area and you’re looking for a band, we highly recommend getting in touch with these guys. They’re really damn good. Don’t believe me? Just give their debut album “Challenges” a listen below.
