Indianapolis pop punk quintet Chin Up, Kid has been pretty busy in their three years as a band. Shortly after forming in 2013, they released their debut EP Home Advantage. Then, in 2016 after years of building a local fanbase, they were invited to play Vans Warped Tour when it came through town. That same year, they also released their second EP, The Way You Live Is Common. Now, they’re back with their debut full length album, Swing With Your Eyes Closed slated for release on April 28 on Standby Records. Pretty impressive résumé so far far, young men! The hard working hoosiers will be headlining a tour with Victorian Halls in support of the new album so check their Facebook page for dates and stops! Until then, stream the title track, below!

During a recent performance on the Van’s Warped Tour, Black Veil Brides vocalist Andy Biersack took some time after a song to deliver some words to a heckler in the crowd. While the hecker’s words are unheard, judging by Biersack’s response we can assume that it wasn’t very pleasant.
You can watch Biersack’s response right here.
Black Veil Brides released their third album, Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, in January 2013 via Lava Records.
Black Veil Brides has announced that Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles will be housing “Revelation In Black” which will feature an art exhibit dedicated to the band. Artwork by vocalist Andy Biersack will be showcased as well.

All Hope Remains are apparently based in Australia, but I'm finding that hard to believe. Everything from the Euro-English stylings of their name, to the slightly metallic, melancholy-tinged sound screams 'Alienated European punks who grew up listening to Epi/Fat' to me. This isn't the type of Aussie punk that conjures images of board shorts, beers and 'barbies, it's something deeper and more brooding than that. Their latest single 'Hit Rewind' is sure to tickle the fancy of skate punks across the world; the opening snare roll and subsequent harmonic-laden guitar riff rolling back the years to when Ten Foot Pole and Pennywise were hotter than an ill-prepared British tourist walking in the Australian sun. What sets these guys apart is their knack for melody and the clarity of the vocals. Plenty of bands are tight and technical, but few also have hooks that stand out over the flurry of riffs and drums fills that skate punk is heaving with. Check them out here.
