Greetings scenesters. Today we are premiering a new track off the upcoming Senses Fail tribute album being released by Pacific Ridge Records, which can be purchased here. This time it’s the title-track off their fourth studio album, The Fire, a song which, you may remember, was previously included on Senses Fail’s Greatest Hits.
The culprits are Titans In Time. They are a Cleveland alternative band, currently in the middle of a twelve-day tour through the American Midwest, who offers a unique take on the track, throwing some of their own influences and imaginative perspective into the mix. The melodies are tight and enthusiastic, with some seriously good musicianship going into tackling the song. Who doesn’t love a good cover? Check out Titans In Time cover “The Fire” by Senses Fail below.

Pacific Ridge Records has announced the release of a Senses Fail tribute album out August 31, 2018. The pop punk/screamo band has been gracing the airwaves and Warped Tour stages for over fifteen years now, and the good people at Pacific Ridge have decided to pay them a little homage.
The label, itself, is one built out of true passion for the bands and music explaining that “The history behind the founding of Pac Ridge is about not having to follow a predetermined path that society and culture deems is acceptable. It’s about choosing whether or not to dedicate yourself to a questionable course of action. It’s about not having dedicate yourself to college, work or anything else in life unless that particular path is what you truly find yourself passionate about. In other words, do what you want, not what others tell you to do.”
Included on the album is a rendition of the song “Can’t Be Saved” from the hit album Still Searching performed by Indianapolis pop punk quartet Chin Up, Kid. Fresh out of the studio from recording their own self-titled record available now on Standby Records, the band had this to say of their addition. “Can’t Be Saved was the last track we recorded during the sessions of our new self titled record. Being so fresh with the writing vibe of the album and already knowing the song, it was very smooth and natural to translate it into our sound.”

If your spider senses are tingling, it’s probably because fun loving Swedish pop punk quartet Future Idiots have released an fantastic cover of Nickleback’s “Hero” which was the theme song for the 2002 movie Spider-Man. When we asked guitarist, Marius Paxcow about the single, he told us “There’s no better way to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the first (and best) Spider Man movie than by doing a Pop Punk cover a Nickelback song.” We’re a little more partial to the real first Spider-Man movie, Viva Spider-Man ourselves but we’ll let you slide since you were brave enough to cover a Nickleback song in this day and age. The track also features fellow countryman Simon Gustafsson of Moment 22 fame and is leaps and bounds better than the original because…of course it is. Check it out below, true believers! Excelsior!

Swedish pop-punks Future Idiots will be releasing a brand new LP titled Murphy’s Law on May 10th via Pacific Ridge Records and this time its not a covers album. This one features all original punk rock jams like the kick ass tune “Eyes Of Mine” which is so good I’m going to make Bobby play it on the next episode of the Dying Scene Radio podcast. Take my advice and give it a listen below.
Singer Marius Paxcow comments on the track:
“Eyes of Mine was originally named “Not Afraid” and the lyrics were completely different. The song was also a leftover from my solo project “Marius Paxcow,” but the song wasn’t finished in time for that particular release so we just adopted it as a Future Idiots tune. The lyrics are about something amazing and something unbelievable that I’ve been lucky to see!” – Paxcow
