Guerilla Asso Records announce Wank For Peace/Prevenge split 7-inch (French punk)

Guerilla Asso Records has announced it’s next release will be of the split 7-inch variety.

Featured on the release are three songs from Wank For Peace (four-piece from Angers, France) and Prevenge (four-piece from Montreal, Quebec).

Preorders for the split are available here. You can also stream all five tracks at the same location.

The album is a joint release between Guerrilla-Asso(FR), Canisay(FR), Pavones(CA), Local Orange(CA), Housebreaker(CA), and Rad Girlfriend(US).



Prevenge announces North American tour

Canadian punk act Prevenge have announced a North American tour with support from French punks Wank For Peace. You can view the dates here.

The two bands will also be releasing a split together.

Prevenge released a 7 inch split with Shared arms May 15th, 2012.



Free Album Download: Prevenge / Dig It Up split

Here’s a couple new punk bands for you to check out.  Montreal’s Dig It Up (featuring members of Fifth Hour Hero and The Sainte Catherines) recently put out a 4 song split 7-inch with hometown brethren Prevenge.  You can stream all 4 songs right here, and if you like what you hear you can pick it up for pay-what-you-want download from Juicebox Recordings.

The Prevenge side of the 7″ was recorded and mixed by Adrian Popovitch (Priestess, Barnburner) while Dig It Up recorded with Marc Andre Beaudet of The Sainte Catherines. All songs were mastered by John Naclerio (Polar Bear Club, My Chemical Romance).

In related news, Dig It Up recently finished recording with Jon Drew, who produced Fucked Up’s Polaris Prize-winning The Chemistry of Common Life, as well as releases from Alexisonfire and Career Suicide. No label or release date has been announced, but stay tuned for more news within the coming weeks.

Dig It Up has also just announced a handful of US East Coast tour dates with None More Black.  Check out the dates and locations here.
