Bad Assets release brand new album, “On Trial”

Coming straight out of Detroit, oi! band Bad Assets just released their brand new album “On Trial”. Featuring 12 tracks that mix fast and nimble guitar and bass work, with lyrics that strike right at the heart of the Michigan’s economic woes, this is a must-listen for any true lover of the workin’ man’s punk. The album is on sale on Bandcamp for $10, and has been released via East Grand Record Co. It marks the bands first solo album since “Spirit Of Detroit” back in 2012.

Vibram 94, an Oi! band featuring members of The Templars, are releasing a 7-inch on United Riot Records and you can stream the title track right here.

The songs were recorded in 1994 and for reasons unbeknownst to this writer, are only now being released for the first time.

Bad Assets is a 4 piece oi! band from Detroit influenced by the drop in income, lack of jobs, white collar crime and anything else you can catch at 5pm on the news. They are poised to release their upcoming first full length titled “The Spirit of Detroit” on United Riot Records (pre-orders here).
