Stream: Jonny Two Bags (Social Distortion) solo EP “Hope Dies Hard”

Jonny “Two Bags” Wickersham has spent more than a decade as lead guitar player for iconic California punk band Social Distortion. As of next week, he’ll also be a solo artist.

Two Bags is set to release his debut seven-inch, “Hope Dies Hard,” on December 11th via Trever Keith of Face To Face‘s Folsom Records. Both the title track and the B-side, “How Many Hearts (Will You Destroy Today?)” are available to stream right here. You can pre-order the black-and-gold vinyl at the same length.

“Hope Dies Hard” will also appear on Jonny Two Bags’ debut full-length, “Salvation Town,” due out next year. We’ll keep you posted.



Face To Face begin pre-production on new album, announce new acoustic tour dates

Every day that contains Face To Face news is a damn fine day, indeed.

First up, the band announced a handful of new southern US tour dates where Trever Keith and Scott Shiflett will be performing their 1999 album “Ignorance Is Bliss” acoustically. In related news, the band recently announced that they were writing material for a new album. This week, they took to a California studio to begin pre-production on what will be the follow up to their 2011 comeback album, “Laugh Now, Laugh Later.” Stay tuned for more details.

Blacklist Royals announce tour dates with Face to Face, The Dopamines, The Snips

Nashville’s Blacklist Royals have announced a run of US/Canada tour dates kicking off next week in Cincinnati and ending the 19th at Pouzza Fest.  Check out the dates and locations here.

The band will be supporting their 2 song limited edition flexi-disc single released recently on Trever Keith from Face To Face‘s new label Folsom Records.

Blacklist Royals latest full-length album, “Semper Liberi,” was released in 2010 via Paper + Plastic Records.
