Newts (Hardcore, UK) stream new single, “Carl” off upcoming album

From Cambridge, UK, Newts have released a single, “Carl” off their upcoming debut, PIG, which will be released in July on Aaahh!!! Real Records.  Says the band of the song, “Carl tells the grim story of American serial killer Carl Panzram, who was executed by hanging in 1930.”

Jake Martin (UK acoustic folk punk) releases “1,555 Syllables That Mean Everything” EP

Brighton’s Jake Martin has released a new four song EP after having to re-record it due to a spiteful hard drive. You can stream it below and pick it up from Aaahh!!! Real Records for three pounds at bandcamp.

Jake’s last release was the “We Take Them at Dawn” album in 2016.

Tragical History Tour release debut album “Aphorisms”

Scottish folk punks Tragical History Tour have released a new album, “Aphorisms”. The album is the first in the Dundee based act’s 15 year career and is out now on Aaahh!! Real Records. Physical copies are available to order now from the label store.

DS Exclusive: Millie Manders streams new EP “Upside Down”

Millie Manders has been touring the UK for the last few years relentlessly, with her band (Millie Manders and the Shutup), amassing ska punk fans wherever she’s toured. The band released EP “Obsession Transgression” back in the spring last year, a four track offering that is available for free/download via Bandcamp. Now, Millie is releasing a stripped down EP, “Upside Down”, on March 23rd, showcasing tracks she performs at her solo, ukelele sets.

The EP deals with issues such as “addressing depression, loss, heartbreak, homelessness and anxiety” and Millie describes it as a “heartfelt and aggressive expression of innermost anguish, observations and pain”. Dying Scene is proud to exclusively stream the release ahead of its street date, exclusively. Ska fans the world over won’t regret having a listen. False Adults (Cambridge, UK Rapcore) release “I’ve Wondered Sometimes, Whether I Could be a Rapper” EP

Cambridge based rap collective False Adults, who comprise of rappers Dronic and MC iPod alongside producer and artist LXE, have released their debut EP “I’ve Wondered Sometimes, Whether I Could be a Rapper” on Aaahh!! Real Records. Originally released under the name “MC iPod x Dronic”, it’s been re-released on the punk/indie label under the new band name.

Goldblume (Emo/Rock, UK) to release new single “Fawning”

Cambridge, UK emotional trio Goldblume are to release something new on hometown label Aaahh!! Real Records this week. They are to release a two song single, “Fawning”, this Friday (with the download including a B-side acoustic track, “Tomorrow”). The single is the follow up to January’s EP  “Go Figure“.

UK folk punks Tim Holehouse and Tragical History Tour are to embark on an EU/UK tour through June. The Aaahh!! Real Records blues infused solo punk and Make That A Take Records Scottish cowpunk exports play 15 dates on the mainland before ending back in England.

MC iPod announces new EP

Cambridge UK based owner of Aaahh!! Real Records Ian Perry, aka MC iPod, is back with a new EP of punk infused nerd rap. The EP, entitled “Prom Night 2002” is a four track affair, including “Where Ya Been, iPod”, featuring MC Lars.

Lay It On The Line (melodic hardcore) stream new song “Aim High” off debut album “The Black Museum”

UK melodic hardcore band Lay It On The Line are streaming a second new single off of their upcoming debut album The Black Museum. The song is called “Aim High” and it follows the first single, “Level Up”, which was released last month. You can check the new song out below.
