Monuments (progressive metal) release new album “Phronesis”

Australian punk quintet Monuments have release their latest album, “Phronesis”, on October 5th via Century Media. This long-awaited album release is the band’s first release since 2014’s “The Amanuensis.”

Monuments is currently embarking on a European tour in support of their latest release, with special guests Vola and Atlas. You can see the full list of tour dates and locations below, along with the lyric video for their single “Mirror Image.”

Monuments announce North American tour dates

Australian punk group Monuments have just announced North American tour dates to support the release of their latest album Amanuensis. You can check out the dates and locations for that tour below.

The band will be supported by Polyphia, Villains, and Lionfight.

Prior to Amanuensis, the group’s latest release was Existence, which was launched on August 9, 2013 via Hindsight Records.



Distance (punk) streaming Hindsight Records debut – “No Funeral”

Aussie punks, Distance, are now streaming their debut release on Hindsight Records, titled No Funeral. You can check out the two-track release here.

No Funeral is also available on cassette right here. It’s limited to 100 tapes, and comes with a digital download code.

The two songs are from Distance’s upcoming full-length debut, which is due out sometime in 2014.



Distance (punk) sign to Hindsight Records, new album in the works


Hindsight Records has announced the addition of Newcastle’s Distance to their growing roster.

Forming in early 2011, the band has since released a demo and a 7″, with plans to release their debut album in 2014. As a teaser for the forthcoming album, the band has recorded two of the songs set to be featured on the full-length, which will be released in November in the form of a tape and digital release.

The two new songs were recorded and mixed in Newcastle once again with Mat Taylor (Civil War, Hazards, The Hollow) and mastered by Bill Henderson (Title Fight, Daylight, Balance And Composure) at Azimuth Mastering in New Jersey.

“No Funeral” is the first taste of the band’s new material, and will be released this month through Hindsight.



Apart From This to tour east coast of Australia

Aussie punk act, Apart From This, will be touring the east coast of Australia in October.

The band released their debut album “In Gloom” in April through Hindsight Records.

Apart From This sign to Hindsight Records; announce release for “In Gloom”

Apart From This have signed to Hindsight Records and have announced that they will be releasing their debut album In Gloom on April 5.

You can check out three songs from In Gloom (“Boltcutter”, “Laid in the Light”, and “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”) right here.

The band last released their Another Day, Another Fight EP in 2011.
