EXPOSÉ: Road to Pouzza Fest VI series Part 4 featuring: The Beatdown

Today we have part 4 of the Road to Pouzza Fest VI series with Minus2 Digital Media and Raw Cut Media. This episode features Montreal ska/reggae rockers The Beatdown (don’t be fooled by the name!). On several occasions, these lads have been accompanied by Hugo Mudie, one of the head honchos over at Pouzza Fest. You bring the ears, they bring the jams. Their smooth, easy going music will sooth anyone’s soul. Watch them as they play their song “The River” off their album Walking Proud.

The group last released their album Let’s Go in 2014 as a follow-up to Walking Proud, which was released in 2012.

Rentokill goes on break, cancels tour dates

Austrian hardcore-punks Rentokill have recently announced that they will be taking a break for the foreseeable future, and all of their upcoming dates scheduled for this year have been canceled.

The band has requested that their fans “take this without deeper questioning” and trust the band with the fact that this is being done to take care of personal matters. You can read the bands full statement on their MySpace blog here.

The band released their last full-length, Anitchorus, in 2007.



The Snips are coming back to the US, announce tour dates

Video: Rentokill Performs Brand New Song

m_80e35f80e7104a5b88aa56b4f2ce7b0dAustrian punk band Rentokill have posted a live video of a new song they’ve been working on. Though it seems recorded on a handycam, the sound quality isn’t that bad. They say the song isn’t finished, and its just a “Glimpse into the future.”

Their latest release was a 7″ split with Anti-Flag put out last year on Sideonedummy Germany.



Misconduct posts live acoustic performance of “Side by Side”

The band is currently in the studio recording a follow-up to their 2004 release United as One on Union 2112 Records.  The new album will be titled One Step Closer.

It doesn’t look like these dudes have released an album since 2004’s United As One was put out on Union 2112.

union-21125A couple of months ago, Welland punk act The Snips posted of few short music clips of unreleased tracks. It looks like these tracks will be on their upcoming EP “Blackouts,” which they announced today will be released on Halloween.

The Snips’ last album “Check Your Audio” came out in 2006.
